David Hasselhoff Returning to Genoa City
Snapper Foster is finally coming home. Jill's older brother, who left GC nearly 30 years ago for a three-month teaching fellowship in London, will be back in town this June -- brought to you by David Hasslehoff.
David, 57, played Snapper for seven years, before going on to even bigger fame in shows like Knight Rider and Baywatch. In a statement given to Entertainment Weekly, the actor said of his return to daytime:
"In 1976, Bill Bell, creator of America's No. 1 soap opera, took a chance on a young and very green actor. Playing Snapper in 850 shows during the six years I appeared molded my craft, my attitude, and my work ethic. Being asked to come back to appear in several episodes gives me a chance to say thanks, as I have an amazing amount of respect and heartfelt emotion for Bill, his family, and my time on Young and the Restless."
"The Hoff" added, "I just hope I can remember all those lines."
It'll be a regular Foster family reunion this summer in GC -- Entertainment Weekly also reports that Wings Hauser is set to reprise his role as Greg Foster, and Julianna McCarthy will be back as Liz Foster Brooks. What could bring them all to town? We're suddenly worried about Jill ...

How about bringing back the ORIGINIAL JILL! Now that would be a definate reunion!
I remember Snapper!.....Yes ...he was the finest male soap star on TV.
I think it's great. I loved Snapper and Gregg! I hope Nikki gets involved again.
Jill has been a pain in the butt for years...and she is the one who should be thankful to Katherine Chancellor! She slithered her way into K's family by messin' with K's hubby...if I'd been in K's place, I'd have helped her shed her snakeskin and cut off her head with a shovel....that's what you do with snakes! lol, Jill is everyone's problem...she even messed up her own family, so she deserves no mercy!
The Hoff as Snapper but it's been a while.
Why are the makeup "artists" making Joshua Morrow look like such a sleeze bag. For years he was preppy and good looking. Now he has greasy, matted down hair and a stubble on his face that is just gross! No real man would go to work looking like he does. Give him a shave and make him look he used to. The beard is not sexy - if that is what they are after. A clean cut looking man like Michael and the rest of the male cast, look so much hotter!
As long they get rid of the twins it will be a great improvement anything will be better than what,s going on now will just wait and see.
I hope this time TPTB remember that Greg was Nikki's first husband! This was never mentioned when James Houghton (and William Gray Espy) brought Greg and Snapper back in 2003 (?).
Yes, it will be good to see the former cast members of the early years on Y&R. Whether they will revive the show's slump at the time remains to be seen. Although we love to keep things the way they are as we know it, this isn't reality. Change has to come for growth, even if it's not as good.
This show has become so tedious,it's unwatchable..Adding "Hoff, will not make the storyline any better..
