I have loved you since your Rawhide days. Your are a great actor. We will miss you dearly but I know your character Adam can not rest without messing with his children's lives, so I know you probably will be making cameo appearances; therefore, we won't say so long. We will just say-enjoy your retirement. Thanks for the memorys and we love you David Canary.

I love adam! This is bad news for All My Children. I hope they don't make the mistake and recast Adam Chandler - u cant do that. With Adam gone who else is there. AMC needs to get new characters and soon if they don't want to end up like the Guiding Light and ATWT cuz the new people they have cannot carry this show the way ERICA,ADAM, DIXIE, BROOKE, JACK, EDMUND,MARIA, TAD, OPAL, AND PALMER HAD FOR YEARS - THE new characters from 2008 to now are just trash and the Salem Stalker needs to slash them starting with the Hubbard kids and everyone around them and Miranda WTF is Miranda. I don't like Ryan either but he is a staple now so Greenlee, kendall and Ryan, Liza, david, crystal, angie and jessie are best bet to keep the show going but new characters are needed and fast otherwise its gonna be boring and the children will see their father in heaven!

I watched AMC from the very beginning. I have not watched it now for about 2 years because it got boring. I liked it when Dixie and Babe were on it. But I have always liked Adam and my favorite wife for him was Liza Colby, the original one. He deserves to retire, but in many ways he made the show what it is. I would like to see him start an office on the West Coast and move here, and continue to make power house decisions concerning his kids. Just run it as a mogal on the West Coast. He truly is an icon. I remember him from the Westerns he was in when I was a kid. So long David.

I'm really going to miss the "old" Adam Chandler. I can't imagine the show without him. It took some adjusting to not have sweet Stuart around, and now no Adam? I've been watching the show since my college days too (1972). Happy retirement! Couldn't happen to a nicer? guy! You were the best!

OMG!!! No more Adam???? I don't know what Pine Valley will do with out him. He is my number 1 on the show and I will truly miss him. Come on Adam you still got a few good years left in you please don't go!!!!

I would LOVE to see him leave for prison... for killing Annie (and Ryan too, for good measure). That way, 2 people I can't stand would be gone, and Adam could be on the show occasionally, while his family visits him in prison.

I have been watching AMC for 38 years and have never missed a day! In the past, I taped the show,scheduled my college classes around the 1:0-2:00 time slot, and now DVRs the show if I am not home.All My Children is a part of my household!!!This past Spring, I had the opportunity and pleasure to watch the taping of a couple of episodes which were filmed here in the next town over from me on Long Island.I will be sad to see David Canary leave.He is such a patriarch and a huge asset to the show.However, all good things must come to an end .On that note, I wish you a Happy Retirement...one well deserved,David!!!
