There are no words to express how empty AMC will be without "Adam Chandler." I wish David all of the world's best in his retirement and I hope he comes back for guest appearances occasionally. I have watched him since he was on Bonanza and no one can ever take his place in our hearts. I would like to see David leave the show with Krystal and [his] daughter, Jenny, and retire in some exotic place. I hope Adam leaves his business to JR only and that JR will recover 100% and he and Marissa will have a baby together. I feel sorry for Annie. No one will give her a break. I wish the writers would stop letting her go off the deep-end and let her have a normal character role and find true happiness and love.

David, I wish you health and happiness for the rest of your days. We will miss you terribly. There can only be one Adam Chandler.

David Canary enjoy your retirement and do everything you couldn't for the past 30 plus years because of working. You will be missed we have loved your characters for a long time.Our heart was broken when Stuart died. I did tell my family when that happened Adam has a plan just sit back and see. Now we know your retiring maybe you may do a Cameo appearance now and then?
My Family has been watching the show for 28 plus years and we have enjoyed every minute of it, always a blast. We do like the fact Brooke and Jack are back, we are just waiting for Annie to go crazy again and leave she is a royal pain. We are sure some miracle will happen and JR will make it.

oh my god!! I have always loved my soaps on ABC. i started watching at 8 years old!! but i have definitely loved One Life To Live and now more of whats going on cause i cant watch ALL the time!!!

I'm really going to miss David Canary as Adam. He is an amazing actor and such a handsome man for someone his age. Since he's leaving, he might as well depart with Crystal, since she has no storyline or personality without him. She has become very boring. I'm so happy to hear that Brooke is coming back. The way they ended her contract was terrible. She's a great actress and she deverved better than that. They are lucky that she has agreed to come back. She and Adam were great together. She was the only wife he ever respected and she was his equal but I know she won't be the ex-wife he leaves with since she is just now coming back.

Thank you David for all the wonderful years you entertained us on AMC. You will be sorely missed. Enjoy your retirement, be healthy and happy and God bless you and your family.

I agree, Ryan needs to go.....Greenlee and David marry, fall in love...then guess who comes back!? YES! LEO! WOW! What a mess that would be for them all! I guess David Hayword will take over as the new love to hate/sometimes show the good side (since Adam is leaving :( I would like to see more of the good side of David...Greens seems to bring that out.

Let Adam Divorce Annie so the rest of the clan won't have to deal with her in the aftermath... (or better still... Let Annie kill off Greenlee and get sent back to the nut house! Kill 2 birds with one stone that way!~) Let JR have a successful recovery and have JR and Scott take over the helm of Chandler. Before Adam's exit, I hope they let him find out that JR's in remission and that Marissa is expecting and that Adam would have a new Grand child on the way! (He always loved his grandson so much). BTW, will they ever let Adam know that Krystal's little girl REALLY is his daughter and NOT Tad's, and that Dr. David arranged for that false mix up on the paternity test listing Tad as the father? (We've been waiting for HOW many years now???)

Replacing Adam with another character...would be IMPOSSIBLE!!!!! As would replacing Erica, or Tad! To those of us who have watched for over 39 years...THAT is something that AMC very rarely EVER did until recent years....as a perfect example was the feeble attempt at replaceing Rebecca Budig a few years back...just didn't work for all us very loyal fans!!! David, you will be greatly missed...I too, feel like I am loosing a family member!! AMC...IS my family!! God Bless! Sheila
p.s. The only way for Adam to leave is AFTER JR is well, he catches Annie and Scott, divorces her, Jenny is his and he and Crystal leave together. Cyrstal and Tad- ?nothing there--Adam and Brooke-didn't work...Adam was really AT his best-humane-self..when he was with Crystal. (but who is the woman he asked Tad to go find? another child?)
