Cyrus Foley of "Guiding Light" Speaks!

Murray Bartlett as Cyrus Foley InterviewWe got in touch with hunky Aussie actor Murray Bartlett who plays the devious con artist (and jewel thief!) Cyrus Foley on “Guiding Light.” Don't worry, he's not a bit like his character. In real life he is "quite lovely" to use one of Murray's favorite turns of phrase. We caught up with him during a break from his photo shoot and chatted about everything from his time spent working alongside Hugh Jackman to what's in store for Cyrus to what it's like facing the end of "Guiding Light."

How are things in the world of "Guiding Light"?

I'm having a great time but you know it's odd because its coming to an end and that's a strange thing for a soap because you're just used to it going on and on and on ... (laughs)

Do you know what the future holds for Cyrus?

I do, but they won't let me tell you anything.

Can you at least HINT at anything?

Well, there's some stuff coming up with Cyrus and Buzz which I think is quite lovely. I love the way they're going to tie up the story but they've asked me not to spoil the surprise. There's some stuff coming up that's been shot but hasn't been to air between Cyrus and Mel - they've been flirting a little bit.

How is working with Beth Ann Bonner? We're big fans of hers from her days as Talia Sahid on "One Life to Live."

We had a great time together. Her stuff got cut a little shorter than it was going to be because the show is going to end but from the first moment we met we had a really fun time. She's so dynamic. She's a strong personality, fun to work with - she's not afraid of "going for it."
