Gentle readers: As we sit here in Soapnet HQ, high atop Llanview with its soaring views of Port Charles and Pine Valley, we like to stay up-to-date with your comments about all things daytime drama.

We have noticed, of late, that few subjects trigger more impassioned feelings than Llanview's most complicated, and beguiling, resident: Todd Manning (Trevor St. John). Is he a sinister sociopath who won't be satisfied until he's crushed or ruined all the petty little lives around him? Or has he just had an EXTREMELY long run of bad luck and suffered from the ignorant misperceptions of his fellow town folk?

Most recently, people are especially worked up over Todd's history with Marty (i.e. he raped her) and how their fledgling love affair will work out. Admittedly, it has recently taken a decidedly tough turn for the worse after it was revealed to Marty who Todd really was.
