All My Children
NEW: Taylor Miller and Gillian Spencer will be reprising their All My Children roles of Nina and Daisy Cortlandt (respectively) in April to mark the on-screen passing of Palmer Cortlandt -- played by the late, great James Mitchell. [STORY]
Five-time Daytime Emmy winner David Canary, who has played manipulative, controlling (but lovable) millionaire Adam Chandler on All My Children since 1983, has announced his retirement. David, who also played Adam's gentle twin Stuart, will air through April 2010. [STORY]
Alicia Minshew and Thorsten Kaye will be back on All My Children for a limited run this April, reprising the roles of Kendall and Zach Slater. Alicia's appearance is a precursor to her anticipated return to AMC following her maternity leave. Look for Kendall to first air on April 9th and Zach on April 13th. [STORY]
We're very sad to note the passing of James Mitchell (Palmer Cortlandt); All My Children will acknowledge his death within the storyline, in keeping with his stature and tenure on the show. [STORY]

Like everyone else that loved Palmer, I fall into that category too. I have seen the good and bad in Palmer over the years. He will be loved and missed.
It's going to be sad to see Adam Chandler leave the show, but I understand when it's time to go it's time. I aint mad at you David Canary aka Adam Chandler. Hope you have a ball doing all the things a retired person does. Enjoy life and stay healthy.
I was sad to hear that Adam Chandler (David Canary) is retiring. I have watched his great performances as far back as "Candy" on Bonanza. Once they killed off Stuart (his twin brother) I knew that it was just a matter of time. I truly hope that he will go out in a blaze of glory to mark the extraordinary character he has played since forever. He will be sorely missed.
I am happy that we will celebrate the home going of James Mitchell. I enjoyed watching Palmer for years. I will look forward to seeing Daisy and Nina. I am going to miss Adam. I sincerely hope he spends time enjoying life.
I am so sorry to hear of the passing of James Mitchell (PalmerCourtland). I have been watching All My Children since it first aired. A long time! I enjoy the show so much. It almost seems real to me.
I'm glad Skye is back on GH. She and Luke have great chemistry and should stir things up with Tracey
Looking forward to the AMC holding a memorial service for Palmer. James Mitchell was a great actor and entertained us with Palmer's antics for many years.
Fantastic! To see Nina and Daisy again! I just wish it wasnt for Palmer's funeral! And i have been waiting too long to see the reunion of Kendall and her not dead after all Friend/Co worker Greelee!
