Brenda's back! Brenda's back! Emmy-winner Vanessa Marcil Giovionazzo will be returning to General Hospital in ONE WEEK, starting August 11th. And she's bringing secrets! [STORY]
NEW: Rebecca Herbst will be taking her maternity leave soon, but only for a few weeks. Rest assured, Elizabeth will be back to be indecisive about her love life some more very soon.
NEW: Unfortunately, we won't be getting to see the incredibly awkward "reunion" of Brenda and Skye, as Robin Christopher has ended her latest stint in Port Charles.
Film and television star Brad Rowe (Wasteland; The '70s) will join the GH cast in mid-August as Murphy Sinclair, a movie star spending time in Italy with one Brenda Barrett.
Veteran TV actress Adrienne Barbeau will be appearing on the show as part of the Brenda Returns storyline. She'll play Suzanne Stanwyck, and look for her to follow Brenda's path from Italy to Port Charles, starting August 12th. [STORY]

I know everyone is excited about Brenda coming back. It's always great when one of our favorite veteran soap stars returns to the canvas like Rebecca Budig and Alicia Minshew, but why do AMC and OLTL have to sacrifice a whole day of their stories so GH can have 3 hrs of Brenda returning? We already get our programs pre-empted enough for world events that most of the time could have waited for the evening news. Why can't GH extend their programming into the shows that come on after their program? No offense to any GH fans out there. I used to watch GH years ago but had to give it up. My husband can only stand to watch so many recorded hrs of soap operas!!

Ryan and Madison is better match and better storylines.
The timing seems perfect for the return of Brenda, especially now that Sonny is available...and Carly hasn't exactly gotten her marrige back on track....so oh the triangles that could develope! But nothing could make me happier than the return of TK as Patrick Thornhart. I really miss Margaret & Patrick's chemistry. And Cole sure could use a father about now! My kingdom for a recitation of "Brown Penny". Pretty please.
Uhhh.....a loser? I don't think so; If anything Carly has gotten back more of the spunk that I LOVE about the character and if you think Brenda can "put her in her place" you can forget it (even though I am so pumped and ready to see Brenda try and to see how Laura Wright's version of Carly clashes with Vanessa Marcil's Brenda)
I can't wait to see what happens between Gloria and Jonna when she comes back to town. I also can't wait to see the s**t hit the fan when Jonna finds out about Jill, if she even does anything
