Comings and Goings: Erica and Jack Are Coming Back

Actress Gina Gallego has been cast in the role that Stacy Haiduk had been tapped to play. Gallego will debut as this prison warden character in October. [STORY]
Jennifer Horton made it back to Salem in time for the passing of her grandma Alice. Come this fall, she'll be back for a bit longer as Melissa Reeves returns to the Days fold for the first time since 2006. [STORY]
Daytime veteran Robin Mattson -- Heather on General Hospital; Janet from Another Planet on All My Children -- has signed on to Days as a character who will interact with Gina Gallego's new character. Look for Robin in October. [STORY]
Gabriela Rodriguez has been released from the show; the part of Gabi has been recast with Camila Banus (ex-Lola, One Life to Live). According to Soap Opera Digest, the move was made to age the character. [STORY]
Soap Opera Digest is reporting that Lindsay Hartley -- who joined Days of our Lives in August 2009 as Arianna Hernandez -- has been let go. She'll continue to appear as Ari for a few more months, as Days has taped weeks' worth of episodes in advance. [STORY]
Former One Life to Live star and Soap Talk host Ty Treadway will begin taping Days episodes in August. Ty will play Dr. Jason Walters.
Fan-favorite Mary Beth Evans is set to return to Days in September. One would hope this takes some of the Stephanie-advising pressure off of poor Adrienne. [STORY]

Can't believe you brought back Erika, it was so nice without her winey voice, and horrible acting!!!!
Get Caleb out of that suit ( horrible ) look on/for him. Hes rugged but not in that suit. It does not fit his character. At least put a dark suit on him if he has to wear one. Pleaseeeeeeeeee don`t give him and Erica a story line. Line him up with Krystal.
I have enjoyed not seeing Erica and Jack on AMC, I was hoping she would lose her way back.

Since I am a Jerica fan i havent' watched all summer. Now they'll come back and be paired with a disgusting mountain loser and a trramp kidnapper and I'm supposed to want to tune in to see that? To see the only couple worth watching destroyed and it's fanbase destroyed? No thanks AMC. YOu lost another one.

I sort of would like Krystal and Caleb to get together. Why should every man who comes around have to immediately fall for Erica? Let her stay with Jackson. Tad needs someone else. Krystal and Tad together are boring. By the way I'm still upset that David was killed off.
Wow Ms. Lucci and Mr. Walt took a serious and much need vacation. Hurry back "Erica and Jack". I think we are going to be surprise once it comes out on who really killed "David" It's going to be someone that we least expect. Can't wait. Writers just don't drag it out until Christmas!!
I have to agree with the people who are glad that Erica has not been on the show. I was fun watching it without her. I guess when she comes back, I will just switch channels and watch the news. The show is better without out her.

I can't wait for Greenlee to kick her b.... I don't know how ? Now that David is gone ?they were so powerfull togather what a shame that he is dead .... Any way I'm upset that she is coming back but I still have about a month to enjoy AMC without her yey :)
