Adam Chandler, David Canary, All My ChildrenFive-time Daytime Emmy winner David Canary, who has played manipulative, controlling (but lovable) millionaire Adam Chandler on All My Children since 1983, has announced his retirement. David, who also played Adam's gentle twin Stuart, will last air Friday 4/23.[STORY]

 

NEW: Altert the mothership, Janet from Another Planet is returning to Pine Valley. Kate Collins is headed back to AMC for the first time since 2007. [STORY]

 

Veteran TV actor Michael Nouri is set to join the AMC cast as Caleb, a potential suitor for Erica Kane. [STORY]

OMG....was hoping Adam and Brooke would come back from their trip...having AMC without David Canary is like having y and r without eric braeden....the only thing worse would be having no susan lucci...

but everyone deserves their time to enjoy the rest of their life....so good luck David.....thanks for all the wonderful years you played adam/stuart.

I WILL MISS ADAM HE WAS MEAN BUT I LIKED THE CHARACTER. AS FOR JANET...I DONT CARE FOR HER, HER DAUGHTER AND HER FAMILY NEED PEACE AND HAPPINESS. I WANT DAVID AND GREENLEE TO GO ON A TRIP AND NOT RETURN, THOSE 2 ARE EVIL!!

Best of Luck to David Canary, will certainly miss him Pine Valley won't be the same without him. Not thrilled about Janet returning, at least if she was on meds it would be tolerable but so sick of the head cases. Poor Jake deserves some peace and quiet in is life. Feel bad for Annie, think she really loved Adam she just needs a lot of attention, now who will it be next???? Scott I guess or worse yet JR. Already tired of Greenlee but she and David are a perfect match, I do hope Ryan is OVER her. I think if Janet is on for too long I'll have to take an AMC vacation

Young & restless, give SHARON a man. Let Nick and Phyllis have ONE week without her. How long can you keep Lauren and Jana in the hoogow?? What husband does not know his wife, at sometime or other. COME ON Writer, reread your story lines for my sanity sake.
