NEW: Daniel Cosgrove -- fresh off his stint as Chris on As the World Turns -- will be returning to the role that kick-started his career: Scott Chandler. Daniel played Scott from 1996 until 1998, before moving on to shows like Beverly Hills 90210, Dirty Sexy Money, and Guiding Light. Look for Daniel to replace the more recent Scott, Adam Mayfield, starting in December.
Fresh off of her stint on Days of our Lives, actress Lindsay Hartley is headed to Pine Valley. Come December 8th, look for Lindsay as Cara Finn, a woman whose stories ties in with Jake and Amanda. [STORY]
Alongside Lindsay, former Guiding Light star Jordi Vilasuso has been signed on to AMC. The former Daytime Emmy Winner will debut on November 15th as Griffin, who will also tie into Jake, Amanda, and Cara. [STORY]
Soap favorite Kimberlin Brown (ex-Sheila, The Young and the Restless; ex-Rachel, Port Charles) will be showing up in Pine Valley as a judge this fall. [STORY]
A fabulous, jet-setting overseas honeymoon is great and all, but it's getting time that Erica and Jack return to Pine Valley. And not a moment too soon, what with all the killings. Look for Susan Lucci and Walt Willey to return to TV screens on October 6th. butterflychimes I hear the sound of a need to silence the words your expressing. Your poor Madison you speak of shows more pashion when she's with Frankie than Ryan in the first place! Ryan and Greenlee share TRUELOVE that has had many obstacles between them and it's written in the Stars that they have a reunion of Hearts that lasts forever.
You tell us that Adam Mayfield is being replaced but you haven't told us WHY? We that love him want to know the reason for this! Is it HIS decision to leave or YOURS?!!!!
Annie does not look good with JR or will she with a different Scott whose the size of JR! Adam Mayfield is an outstanding actor who you can feel and see his emotions with. He stands tall and proud with a Heart of Gold. And I hope sometime he pounds JR down from his step ladder!!!!!
InstantKarma777 & jkdnardin how does Adam Mayfield not fit the character? I think him and Annie look awesome together, better than someone short & dumpy like JR. Adam Chandler was a tall handsome man so to me the current Scott Adam Mayfield is perfect for the role and an outstanding actor as well!
I can't wait for Daniel Cosgrove to return. I have not liked Adam Mayfield in the role of Scott since day 1. He is too dorky and not at all a realistic match w/Annie. Although Adam Mayfield's Scott is a great match w/MArissa.
Thank you Thank you Thank you AMC! I have not liked Adam Mayfield playing Scott. He just doesn't fit the character. He and Annie do not look right together. Daniel was an awesome Scott. I can't wait for the switch!!!
