NEW: Daniel Cosgrove -- fresh off his stint as Chris on As the World Turns -- will be returning to the role that kick-started his career: Scott Chandler. Daniel played Scott from 1996 until 1998, before moving on to shows like Beverly Hills 90210, Dirty Sexy Money, and Guiding Light. Look for Daniel to replace the more recent Scott, Adam Mayfield, starting in December.
Fresh off of her stint on Days of our Lives, actress Lindsay Hartley is headed to Pine Valley. Come December 8th, look for Lindsay as Cara Finn, a woman whose stories ties in with Jake and Amanda. [STORY]
Alongside Lindsay, former Guiding Light star Jordi Vilasuso has been signed on to AMC. The former Daytime Emmy Winner will debut on November 15th as Griffin, who will also tie into Jake, Amanda, and Cara. [STORY]
Soap favorite Kimberlin Brown (ex-Sheila, The Young and the Restless; ex-Rachel, Port Charles) will be showing up in Pine Valley as a judge this fall. [STORY]

I figured that david was alive. What gets me is that he probley won't even go to jail for the craimes he commited faking his death, trying to frame Ryan for the murder. All the illeagle crap that he is done. People would go to jail for. on top of all this they sussposly kill zach off which stinks too.but ive learned in soap opra land if they don't find the body chances are they will rise from the dead! The news that AMC is recasting the parts of Marisa and Scott. I liked Scott and he reminded me of his father. Marisa is kind of dull and I am glad they're recasting her roll. I like the story about Caleb. His scene with Erica when he comes to the realization that Asher is his son was heart wrenching. He should have an emmy nomination for his part. Also, he brings out the best acting in Erica
Why has soapnet not reported the leaving of Vincent Irizarry as David Hayward? I wonder, is he really dead? I realize he was autopsied but, as we all know, you can be hung, runover, dropped from a plane, stabbed, shot, strangeled and still make it back alive.
