We've been seeing it all over Port Charles in the last week or so. It's been accompanied by moody Donnie Darko music and shots of an empty loft apartment and photos of murder victims. Strangely, that hasn't been enough information to for us to figure out what the hell Co77X means. Even Spinelli couldn't dig up any information on it. Spinelli!
So we need some help. We need your help. What's the meaning of this little piece of graffiti that has Dominic (and us) so flummoxed? Before we put the question up for grabs, allow us to engage in some speculation. Is it a code for something? That "C" -- does it stand for "Corinthos"? "Cassadine"? "Carly"? What about the 77? Retired Canadian hockey player Raymond Bourque wore the number 77. Jason Thompson is a hockey fan -- does this mean it has some connection to Patrick? And what of that "X"?
OK, our brains are officially tired. Your turn. Give us your best guess as to the meaning of Co77X. Who's behind it? What does it mean? Should we be checking hands for stray spraypaint? Scroll below and leave a comment!

Saw the CO77X at the bottom of Franco's mug shot when Lucky and Dante had it called up on the computer!!!
I think that "CO" represents the CO in Franco. This the CO77X is like his signature and he used the last two letters of his name to do that. The "X" has to do with death/killing. His art is about murder/killing so the "X" symbolizes that. The "77" i am still trying to figure out. I don't think that this has any relations to Sonny or Jason. It definitely has a connection to Dante and Bensonhurst. The "77" may not represent "77" but rather two 7's each representing two different things. Possibly, Franco was 7 yrs old when he started tagging and it took him until his 7th try to make "CO77X"
This i think has to do with Franco, this is his signature!!
Jason's been killing for Sonny since the late 90s (at least 10 years.) Polletti might have been his first kill. We don't know how old Dante is, but if he's about 25, then he was about 15 when Poletti was killed. Olivia has stated that she was 15 when she gave birth to Dante, making her about 40 now. That would work. After seeing Nov 20 episode, I definitely think Franco is Polleti's son, come to Port Chuck for revenge. As others have theorized, I think C077X was probably Poletti's badge number. That's why it seems so familiar to Dante.
Can t be Jason killed Polletti. First of all should too young to kill anyone, (* I don;t know when Mr. P died) second if jason was not too young to kill he would have still been Jason Quartermine not Jason Morgan which means he would not have been working for Sonny. Hubby thinks it might be Jerry Jaxes son.
Is it possible Franco is Diego Alcazar(with a face-lift)? Or someone related to him? Wasn't it Jason who supposedly killed Diego? Did they even recover his body after he fell off that bridge? Wasn't he into photography (I seem to remember some scandal about him taking pictures of women at the college)? Could the 77 in CO77X be upside LL, as in Luis and Lorenzo, the dead Alacazar brothers? Nobody seems to remain dead for very long in the world of soaps.
My bad.....sounds just like Stipe. I wonder if REM or Lambert gets $$ for every single time that song is played on GH?...lol I like it but it's overplayed like the song, Think of Laura from way back in the day.
Actually if you look under General Hospital under music it is the Adam Lambert version of Mad World.
did is wat i found ou about the mystery charatcer and how he is connected to dom. (The latest buzz is that Franco is playing a childhood friend of Dante's. Franco's father was a detective, who Dante apparently saw as his own father figure. Dante's friend is now coming after Jason because he believes (perhaps rightly so) that Jason was responsible for the death of his father. Believe it...or not...
The song is Mad World by REM also heard in the movie, Donnie Darko.
What about the Cassidine character, Valentene (sp?), that we have not seen yet. Will James Franco be playing him? Also, what is that song that keeps playing during the "CO77X" scenes? I can't get it out of my head!
