We have such a love/hate relationship with Chad Michael Murray. On one hand, he's the cute three-named star of one of our favorite dramas, "One Tree Hill." On the other, he's the guy who broke costar Sophia Bush's heart after just months of marriage -- putting them both in the awkward position of pretending to be in love on-camera while their real-life relationship was on the rocks.
Finally, there was word that he was dating a "Tree Hill" extra named Kenzie Dalton -- a move that made us wonder: could our Chad Mike get anymore cliche?
It's the above-explained dual-sided attitude we brought into reading People magazine's recent Teen Choice interview of the actor, and unsurprisingly, Chad still keeps us on the fence.
For example, his exclamation of "to all the girls out there who think being funny is not sexy, you are wrong!" confuses us. In super-scientific lady-mag polling, isn't "humor" everyone's top turn-on? What crazy funny-equals-ugly planet have you been living on, CMM?
But then he says of Kenzie, who appears to be benefiting from Chad's relationship learning-curve with a practical two-year-plus engagement: she's "[My] best friend [who] supports me and makes me laugh. It's not that she's just pretty, she's my buddy."
