Is Oakdale ready for Rosanna (Cady McClain)? Time will tell ... tune in May 20th to see her re-debut!

Good news, "As The World Turns" friends 'n' fans! After slipping back into a car crash-induced coma in January 2008, Rosanna Cabot is returning to the land of the truly-living -- and she'll be played once again by Daytime Emmy winner Cady McClain!

Back in 2002, fan favorite McClain left Southern charmer Dixie Cooney behind on ABC's "All My Children" and wound up in Oakdale -- this time, as the stuck-up, wealthy, entirely un-Dixie-like Rosanna. After wreaking the requisite havoc on her family, she slipped into a coma (and Cady returned to "AMC" as Dixie ... until some poisoned pancakes did her in. Don't get us started) following a car crash caused by her then-husband Craig. She woke up in 2007, but -- since comas are as common as industrial espionage in the suburbs -- she slid back into it in '08.

McClain told Soap Opera Digest exclusively that Rosanna "is going to have gone through a transformation ... It's timely and it's relevant and I'm very excited about that."

Inquiring minds wanna know what Rosanna will have to say about her sister Carly hanging out with Craig so much lately. And let's hope she slaps some sense into her ex, Paul, because he's been acting wacko as of late ...
