Broadway Cares 2011 - See Who's Performing!

Jackson Montgomery, Walt Willey, All My ChildrenGet ready for All My Children, One Life to Live, General Hospital and The View stars to hit the Broadway stage. The 7th Annual ABC Daytime Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS event is set for March 13th, 2011 in New York City. This one-night-only event features ABC Daytime stars taking the stage at Broadway's historic Town Hall for a night of singing, dancing, and entertainment.

 

All My Children stars Walt Willey (Jack) and Bobbie Eakes (Krystal) will co-host the event, with The View's Sherri Shepherd as the headlining performance.

 

Stars joining Mr. Willey, Ms. Eakes and Ms. Shepherd in performances on stage will include: All My Children's Natalie Hall  (Colby) and Lindsay Hartley (Cara); One Life to Live's Kristen Alderson (Starr), Kassie DePaiva (Blair), David Gregory (Ford), Josh Kelly (Cutter), Mark Lawson (Brody), Nic Robuck (James), Brittany Underwood (Langston), Kelley Missal (Danielle), Hillary B. Smith (Nora), and Kim Zimmer (Echo); and General Hospital's Bradford Anderson (Spinelli), Brandon Barash (Johnny), Anthony Geary (Luke) and Jonathan Jackson (Lucky). Talent participation is subject to change.

 

Broadway Cares also is announcing a variety of auction packages created in support of the event, including:

  • The ultimate soap fan fantasy weekend, which includes round-trip airfare to New York and hotel accommodations, private access to the event’s final dress rehearsal, VIP tickets to the Grand Finale Celebration and a post-show party with the cast.
  • The opportunity to appear on stage during the Grand Finale Celebration.
  • Opportunities to appear in a scene of All My Children, One Life to Live and General Hospital.
  • Behind-the-scenes tours of each ABC Daytime drama.
  • A VIP package for a taping of The View, including a meet-and-greet with the hosts.

More exclusive, one-of-a-kind auction lots will be announced soon.

 

Additionally, fans will have an opportunity to win prizes through the ABC DAYTIME SOAP-A-THON SHOWDOWN. The SOAP-A-THON is an interactive online competition where fans of ABC Daytime dramas have the chance to win rare ABC Daytime memorabilia, including show props and wardrobe pieces. Fans will raise funds online for Broadway Cares in the name of their favorite ABC Daytime duo. They’ll compete against other fans to see who can raise the most money. The top fundraising team coordinator will be eligible to win a pair of VIP tickets to the Grand Finale Celebration and will be recognized for their efforts from the stage.

No Thanks to Broadway Cares this year. I don't need to be nauseated by Brittany Underwood and David Gregory *%$!# ing and warbling across the stage. DAG and the bucket made me puke last year.

If I lived in the area I would definitely attend! I'm a huge OLTL fan, so seeing all these stars in one place would be awesome!! Saw David Gregory's part last year on youtube, ouch!! I wish I was there!! Mark Lawson, Nic Robuck, Brittany Underwood, and Kristen Alderson are also performing, well they should be great! Also, Hillary B. Smith is suppose to be a really nice in person, so it would be a treat to see her as well! Also good to see new cast members like, Josh Kelly, participating in the event. Too bad there isn't a tour of the stars taking place across the country. Hint, hint....

I love The Young & Restless, you say we can watch it at 7PM on Soap Net, I am on the site now but can't get the show to start all they do is advertise all the shows. I am a member of this station SoapNet, but I can't get the show to start, I wanted to see the Friday show and everyone told me I could watch it every night a 7PM. Please help me so I can watch the show every night. Don't know why the eposode wont come on, so what can I do, in order to watch each night.
