Oh, how 10 years can fly right by. As daytime fans, we know this more than most. Time feels like it moves differently on the soaps, whether it's a child walking up the stairs at seven years old and walking back down a year later as a troublemaking teen, or how one fateful night can last a week and a half.
Think about where we were 10 years ago on One Life to Live: Jessica Buchanan was dating Will Rappaport; they'd just buried their stillborn daughter, Megan, but Jess was still safe in the knowledge that she was Viki and Clint Buchanan's daughter ... and Mitch Laurence WHO and Natalie Balsom WHAT? Nora and Sam Rappaport were engaged to be married. Viki had her Ben. Skye Chandler was running around town, making trouble. Max Holden was faking insanity while Blair was obsessing over him rather than Todd (for a change). Kelly and Joey got engaged, though Kelly was starting to spend an awful lot of time with Joey's brother, Kevin. It all seems like a lifetime ago AND like it happened yesterday. Like we said, time moves differently on the soaps.
Now that we've reached the end of another decade in Llanview, we wanted to take a look back at our favorite characters, moments, and crazy twists from the last 10 years. Join us as we remember heroes (Ben!), villains (Spencer!), hot couples (Rex and Lindsay!), terrible therapists (Rae!), and so much more.

I hope that Adrian kick Gigi but and Rex go back to Adrian
RE: Negative comments about the gay OLTL storyline. I respect your rights as Americans to choose what you watch in your home. I'm guessing you are heterosexual. It must be nice to have rights to legally marry, openly serve your country, hold hands in public without fear of physical harm, be welcomed and not ostracized from your religion of choice if you have chosen one, and enjoy the many other rights and privileges you have as straight Americans.
As I pay the same taxes and live in the same country as you, Gay people are not able to experience these rights. As a middle aged gay man in a very happy monogamous 10 year relationship, it is very refreshing to watch a positive gay storyline on prime time TV. I am amazed at how much of this storyline is being shown and I applaud ABC and OLTL for their courage in airing a controversial topic. It is very refreshing and very comforting to watch this story develop. I will admit that when Kyle showed up and was a blackmailer, and Nora's sociopathic husband years ago was yet another negative gay character, I was debating not watching the show. I'm glad I hung in as the storyline grew and the current characters became more positive.
I encourage you to hang with the show and realize that gay people make up as much a part of America positively contributing to society as any other group. If not then that's your choice. I wonder if a close friend or work associate came out to you if you would bar them from your home as well without giving them a chance to show that they are just as valid as anyone else. You may just be throwing out the baby with the bathwater. As for OLTL please continue to use timely topics such as drug use, teen pregnancy, etc. to open our eyes to the changing world around us. Acceptance and tolerance of everyone are the best tools we have to deal with the world of today and to teach to the children of tomorrow.
I am glad Mitch returned the problem is they kill the villians all the time instead of putting them in jail...
Mitch is amazing but the storyline is a bit slow. And wasteful scenes in between such as the Rex and Gigi mess and the boring foursome + baby (starr, langston, cole and marko) nonsense aka scooby doo gang..
Dorian needs to return to her roots and take down mitch only she can...
I agree that the Mitch story line is already boring. It's preditable. He will go down like always, with an air of mystery, so he can come back.
I have watched oltl since 1978. I really enjoy it. I even have my husband watching. He loves the scenes between Vicki and Dorian.
dcperone you are not alone I feel the same way and so are millions of people .they are not saying anything because they are not watching oltl anymore ,that's what I do the days that they have gay story line I am changing the channel .to bad they lost lots of fans.
I have watched OLTL off and on for years ever since I was a teenager. I hadn't watched in several years, but came back when I heard my favorite actress, Susan Haskell, was returning. I almost tuned out because her total lack of storyline is nearly painful to watch. However I stay because of the awesomeness that is the Kyle/Oliver storyline. Scott Evans and Brett Claywell have been nothing short of outstanding and the writing is amazing. In response to a previous poster who asked if there were really that many straight people who were fine with the storyline, I am straight, female, married, a mother, and live in a small town in the midwest, and Kyle and Oliver storyline is the only reason I still watch OLTL. It is so good it actually atones for the Rex/Gigi/Stacy disaster.
I have been watching OLTL for almost 30 years!! After working a day shift job for a couple of years I settled down recently to watch and catch up on one of my favorite soaps....NO MORE!!!!!! I am sorry but I prefer not to have gay love in my home!!! I have totally respect for what anyone does in the privacy of their own homes, but when you put this on the air it invades MY HOME!!! So in the right to choose as much as I have loved this soap for all these years I will no longer choose this program...Are their really that many people who are not gay that are not insulted by this story line??? Be as proud ase you want but not in my home!!!
The best scene of all time on One Life To Live & one of the best on TV altogher is Karen Wolak (Judith Light) testifying that she was a whore for Marco Dane! The best scene ever on daytime or night time TV!!!!
I just want to know how many times are you all are going to bring back the dead. I mean how many times is Mitch going to come back. That storyline is already boring. If you bring anyone back from the dead, let it be Joe Riley or many of the good people who passed. And Rex is not a very good actor. I m sorry he seems to be trying to hard to act the sceens. And it seems that all the boys lately have become very rude talking to parents. Jack is a spoiled kid cussing and NO ONE says anything to him. Mathew is just as bad..Poor little boy with an atittude. Treating his parents like crap. I would love to smack some respect into him. I am glad to see Starr grew up and lose her atitude and turn out to be a good mom. good for you Starr.
the best thing for me on this show has definitley been TEA DELGADO
FL iiiisss AMAZING!!!!!!!!! <33333333
