Erin Karpluk, "Being Erica"The last time we saw Erica Strange, she made a decision that would change everything. And now we know when we'll be able to see the fallout from that decision. The second season of Being Erica will premiere on Wednesday, January 20th at 10pm ET/PT -- our calendars are marked, and we suggest you do the same.

The critically-acclaimed first season of Being Erica introduced us to Erica Strange (Erin Karpluk), beleaguered single woman, who got the weird and wonderful opportunity to revisit her own past, via therapy sessions with the mysterious Dr. Tom. By season's end, Erica made the decision to break the rules and attempt to change the past -- in this case, the circumstances surrounding the death of her brother.

How will this fateful choice affect Erica in the new season? Tune in on January 20th and find out! And if you missed out on any of Season 1 -- or just feel like revisiting the past yourself -- SOAPnet will begin airing encore episodes every Saturday (at 5pm) and Sunday (at 11pm), starting October 17th and 18th.

What are you hoping to see from Erica in Season 2?

I heart Being Erica! I've been watching Season 2 online...it's getting really good!
Seriously people, get over it! The soaps are dead. Your "stories" never change...it's the same garbage being recycled over and over again. For example Days of Our Lives...I've been watching it since I was really young and recently gave it up after 20+ years of watching. Cannot stand to watch another Sammi triangle, Stefano coming back from the dead again, Hope whining, and Nicole plotting another scheme....so old. Same people, different year and they are getting too old to pull it off anymore.
Make the change and watch Being Erica! You will not be disappointed :)

Ok, come on peeps, Yes SoapNet was built on the daytime soaps, but there is always room for new shows.. Cher489 called Being erica and others "Stupid" uhhh have you bothered to watch them? While I agree it does get irritating when your "fav" show is moved, bashing the show that moved it isn't the answer... maybe SoapNet is giving you a golden opp to check out something new. Thats what happened to me and now I'm hooked. I got myself a DVR and my Fav shows are recorded no matter what time-slot they end up in. so I miss NOTHING... LOL and I get to fast-forward thru the ads... yippieee

Being Erica is a terrific show and I am pleased that it has returned. Please continue to sponsor this interesting show. BTW, those loud video ads that restart on every page are extremely annoying.

I feel the same why as you Cher489 holidate and what was the one before holidate about the 5 friends oh yah Louisville. I love General Hospital so stop pushing it back to put on these other show's. Show them on the weekend in the morning or at night. Don't get me wrong I like the show being erica also but there has to be another time slot for her, Please.

If season two was anything like season one, then I think season two will rock. I loved season one's ending btw, very heart-felt. I found myself asking, if given a choice between messing up the future, or saving my brother, it's a no brainer...Erica couldn't be expected not to cheat on that one. I agree w/ cupcake, I also want to find out what happened to Dr. Tom, but I hope it will be explained why he gave her a choice he knew she couldn't resist?

I know her brother was a big risk-taker, but why was saving him such a bad thing? Yes, I will miss doctor Tom for a few episodes, as long as the show doesn't lose that actor for good, because he is a fine blend of witty and charming. This is the best thing I've seen from him so far, although I admit I can't follow everything an actor does, but I try to keep up when I have free time. An Erin is so refreshing in a role that seems made for her. In many ways this show is like an update of Quantum Leap, but it has perhaps more variety, but it is like comparing apples and oranges at some point. This is the perfect show for my generation (I'm 26) so I could really relate to the show, although Erin's char. was slightly older, but it's still close enough that I can relate to it. This show also came on at just the right time when I was looking for life's big answers myself (still looking, but it really helped fill a void in my life). Yes, I know that sounds pathetic, but if it helped me manage my days a little better then that's not a bad thing. I'd say whoever wrote this show deserves some sort of tv therapy award (haha-if they had one that is).

I don't usually follow too many shows currently. "Fringe" and this show are about the only ones .I was a big Chris Carter fan, yes...he might find it ironic that I like a show that's on soapnet, but hey you media people are doing a good thing. You are crossing genres, pushing the envelope, and exploring new grounds, and I salute your effort to be different from the pack.

Also, "Dead Like Me" and "Joan of Arcadia" were shows I followed until they got canceled, ever notice how many promising shows get canned?I have no idea why. This show deserves more than just 2 or 3 seasons, so think big, if your budget allows. Please, at least try to make it to 4. I hate following a show that is canceled when it's just getting good, and please, if the stations choses to drop it, at least have a great ending episode, "Joan" and "Dead" never got the proper enders. "Enterprise" last episode was also sadly rushed, while I managed to find something I could take away from it, it was confusing and a bit of a let down (considering I'm also a big Star Trek fan. I am a woman, but I'm not your average woman). If you are going to close out "Erica" some day ("all good things"), at least have a really good finish, but from the sound of things, "Being Erica" is going strong and I hope it remains that way.

Sorry, for the lengthy post, but I haven't posted anything in a long while...but I'm still here. I'm not really noted for my brevity anyway. It's not my style.

I wish soap net would stop cutting off my soaps with these STUPID shows. Soap net was founded on the day time soaps and now what is the point of the channel when they took them off in the afternoon on the weekends and the best soap ever General Hospital is constantly being pushed aside for these other shows. I know that I am not the only one who feels like this because it also my friends bigest complaint too.

I hope we get to see what happen what happened to Dr. Tom
