On today's "All My Children," Babe Carey (Amanda Baker) is buried and Pine Valley starts to say goodbye. Of course, her daddy David Hayward is not going to let her rest in peace -- namely by destroying the entire Chandler family, who he blames for the tragedy.

We thought Babe's death was so sad that we decided to look back at the character (played by both Baker and Alexa Havins), and the stories she's been involved in. We'll always remember Babe for being a key player in one of our favorite stories of all time -- the "All My Children"/"One Life to Live" baby switch. It was a story of such epic scope and scale, the kind where you can still remember specific scenes that gave you chills. Also, any scene that involves Erica Kane (Susan Lucci) testifying while Dorian Lord (Robin Strasser) sits in the courtroom saying "Love the outfit," is gold in our minds. We see spin-off potential!
