I just can"t believe that they are taking away one of the best soap ever!!!! and now talking about getting the rating up on As the world turns or doing away with it soon .I love watching GUIDING LIGHT Y&R and AS THE WORLD TURNS, I think the ones from guiding light should show up in OAKDALE & GENERAL CITY ON Y&R and As the world turns .as who they are playing now on guiding light, That would be GREAT!!! Like they did with Ashley on Y&R and B&B, And that would sure get those rating up, like now they are bring alot back for us on guiding light ,and we all are pleased with that ,why didn"t they take that kind of interest before now and their rates would have went up ,I will really miss Alan, Reva,Josh,Billy,Buzz ,Frank,Cyrus,The whole gang,what about Grady did they just forget about him? I have watch guiding light since I was 12 yrs old ,now I am 44.and my granddaughter is 10,she loves it to ,my mom has watch it forever, We will miss you all ,NOT FAIR AT ALL!!!!

I have been watching GL for most of my life. My mother got me hooked. I even use to tape it when I was working so I could watch at night. I am not a big computer user and just found out that the series is ending. There will probably be alot of us seniors who will miss GL and I bet many of them don't know the series is ending. Josh has always been my ROCK. I will really miss him and Reva.

I hope they keep the series going for another at least 20 years.

Yeah That"S right!!! I agree with you 100% .I will really miss Guiding Light the BEST SOAP, They should have did away with B&B It"s one big circle,I wish they was something fans could do to keep it going ,If Not Hope they all show up on Y& R and As the world turn as who they play on Guiding light,

I will be happy to see Nola return after so long. It is a shame that Quint can't come too. They were so good together. It seemed to me they were the best and First SuperCouple of the soaps way back then. I did love the fantacy's that Nola waould have and the adventures that she and the mysterious Quint would have. It was truly something to remember.
I know we are all older, and dont' look quite as sexy as when we were young, but this couple was great together. I can't understand to yet why they were torn apart.

i can't beleive u r taking one of the best soaps off the air. I grew up watching it with my mother who i can say still watches it to this day and she watched it with her mother.Its wrong to take something so special away from so many loyal fans.There are so many soaps out thee that aren't even worth watching so you take the number one away.

I think that the viewers should get a vote on if the show goes off or not and I would say not.

I really thought that when it came down to it whom ever decided to cancel Guiding Light would just DROP DEAD and the show would be SAVED. Is there anything FANS can do to keep the LIGHT BURNING. Come on there are so many other shows that should be canceled , I am sure you can come up with a better solution. PLEASE DONT TAKE THE LIGHT OUT OF OUR DAYS......

I am still going to write to you about the STUPID decision to CANCEL the Guiding Light! Obviously, the person that was in charge of making this decision has recently had a labotimy!! This is the only reason i can see for such a BLIND MOVE!
I have told you previously how i feel about canceling the show and wish you could reconsider your choice.

If nothing else we SHOULD HAVE THE RIGHT to be able to see the show on another station. It may come down to me BANNING any shows that come on that station just because someone had a BAD IDEA! I bet if we all quit watching for me it is channel 7 this station maybe this would help.

I mean if nothing else they will loose money and LOTS of it. We could organize a PACK with all of us to BAN that channel and if they start loosing alot of $$ for lost airtime where nobody else views them, maybe it could work. If anyone is interested in this idea, feel free to let me know as we will need to get started ASAP.

Just think, we could be the reason our show Guiding Light stays on the air. WE OWE IT TO OUR FAMILY IN SPRINGFIELD!

WHY ARE YOU REMOVING GUIDING LIGHT. THERE ARE ALOT OF LOYAL FANS THAT HAVE BEEN WATCHING THIS SHOW SINCE IT WAS ON FOR 15 MINUTES AFTER SEARCH FOR TOMORROW AFTER THE NEWS ON KDKA. I AM ONE OF THEM!!! I GREW UP WITH THESE PEOPLE. IT IS LIKE A MEMBER OF OUR FAMILY DISAPPEARING. COULD YOU RECONSIDER YOUR DESCISION. THE NEW LETS MAKE MAKE DEAL IS NOT GOING TO CUT IT. I WOULD THINK YOU WOULD WANT TO KEEP A SHOW IN THAT TIME SLOT THAT HAS A GREAT FOLLOWING, AFTER ALL ISN'T MONEY THE ALMIGHTY REASON FOR THIS DECISION?

I am extremely unhappy that the show is going off the air in September. They had better not kill off Phillip and they need to get Reva and Josh back together if they are going to take the show off.

I think that Nola should interact the most with the Cooper family and Reva, Holly and Blake.
