AnnaLynne McCord's got a ritzy new ZIP code. The sexy "Nip/Tuck" blonde has been cast in the "Beverly Hills, 90210" spin-off as rich, popular teen Naomi.
Known best as the scheming Eden Lord, who seduced "N/T" doc Sean (Dylan Walsh) and poisoned his ex Julia (Joely Richardson), AnnaLynne also played a mean cheerleader in a guest role on "Cold Case." And when she guested on "Ugly Betty" last year, she played underage model Petra, who joined her mom in seducing Daniel Meade (Eric Mabius). So, AnnaLynne definitely brings soapy experience to the CW's reboot of the classic '90s dramarama.
She joins the already cast Dustin Milligan in the spin-off series, which will focus on a new family, the Mills clan. The dad is a Beverly Hills High grad, who goes back to his old 'hood to look after his aging, alcoholic, ex-movie star mom.
Show creator Rob Thomas ("Veronica Mars") has stepped aside due to previous commitments to a pair of ABC pilots. Writers Gabe Sachs and Jeff Judah will rewrite the pilot script, but Rob will still be involved in casting and stay on as exec producer -- if the pilot is picked up.
Who else would you like to see on the new "90210"?
