All My Image Award Winners
It was a Hubbard-friendly atmosphere at the NAACP Image Awards over the weekend, as All My Children stars Debbi Morgan and Cornelius Smith, Jr. won the awards for Outstanding Actress and Actor in a Daytime Drama, respectively.
Debbi and Cornelius, of course, play mother and son Angie and Frankie Hubbard on AMC, and honestly? They look gorgeous with their shiny new trophies, right?
The Image Awards, which are handed out annually to recognize African American representation in the arts, had nominated Debbi and Cornelius alongside Bryton James, Cassius Willis, Eva Marcille, Tatyana Ali, and Tony Lee Williams of The Young and the Restless, Terrell Tilford and Daphne Duplaix of One Life to Live, and Texas Battle of The Bold and the Beautiful.
Congratulations to Debbie and Cornelius -- and to all the nominees!

I watched my tape of the Image awards over the weekend and there was no mention of winners from daytime. Being that there is a lack of color in daytime, I thought no award was given. Glad that wasn't the case. Congrats to Debbi and Cornelius on their win. It would have been nice if they got a mention during the telecast. They deserved at least that much.
Woo hoo!! I'm so happy for them. They do such a great job, they both deserve it. Mrs. Morgan/Winston is one of my favorite actresses. she is so talented and beautiful.
