"All My Children": Sneak Peek: Week of 8/10/09

Amanda's baby is stolen!Amanda, Jake, Tad, and Taylor decide to enact Opal's suggestion for how to permanently reunite Amanda with her son -- without arousing David's suspicion. In short, they'll leave baby Trevor in an alley, where Amanda will "find" him and then "adopt" him ... all with David none the wiser. Seems foolproof, right? Umm ... have you been to this town? Basically, everything goes completely wrong, and someone else ends up taking Amanda's baby -- and wants to keep little Trevor for him/herself.

 

Across town, Jesse and Randi are starting to feel the heat from their mutual secret (that she killed D.A. North and they're covering up his death). Angie and Frankie start to suspect the two are keeping a big secret, and confront them about what it is. Will Jesse finally come clean and admit how he helped Randi? We all know what a moral, upstanding guy he is ...

Pleeeze bring back Greenlee. Such spirit and so fun to watch the wheels spinning in her head. I really hope that David's "special patient" that he has hidden away is our special Greenlee. I would love to see Ryan & Green's reunited. Let's skip to the chase & who really shot Stuart already!!! PS, where is Palmer?? He took off with Opal's $$ & no one even Opal is looking for him?? Terrible write off if true.

David Canary (Adam/Stuart) wants to retire..he is past seventy. They have now written out the Stuart character with a drawn out story line that will last for months if not years ahead. Adam and Annie will marry...Crazy Annie will kill Adam (letting David Canary retire) and she will take over Chandler Enterprises which will pit J.R., and Scott against her to regain control. What a scenerio.....

I like that show, but there is a limit to the believability factor. All soaps are fantasy, but damn, this one has abused the privilege. They carry out a story line so long that no one really gives a rat's patootie anymore when the end is revealed. If they bring back Greenlee, by now, who cares? Or even better, who remembers?? Get new writers that live on THIS planet !!!!!!

Ok, I am really tired of Emma, Its time this little girl confesses she is the one that shot Stuart. Poor Kendell has gone through enough this year, give her a rest, put Emma and her crazy mother away once and for all.

I think it's time to add a little something to the story line to refresh everything for the viewers. Noboby likes a dragged out story line. Bring comedy to the club or get a good music group. Everyone needs a stress-free day, afterall. Give the crew something to smile about & let them forget about "their problems". I hope with Labor Day coming in a few weeks u have some special moments coming up.
