All My Children: Who's Going to L.A.?

Susan Lucci will be moving to LA with the show.
Weeks ago, All My Children announced that starting January 4, production of the show will move from New York City to Los Angeles. What was not known was which cast members were making the move -- until now.
Susan Lucci, who has played Erica Kane since the show's debut in 1970, will be going! She'll be joined by most of her castmates, including Cameron Mathison (Ryan) and Michael E. Knight (Tad).
We should note that Alicia Minshew, who plays Kendall, will start her maternity leave in November 2009 (she'll continue to air into December).
Thorsten Kaye, who plays Zach Slater, will not be relocating to Los Angeles. Ray MacDonnell -- AMC's other original cast member -- has decided to retire from acting. His character, Joe Martin, may appear occasionally, depending on storyline needs and actor availability.

I have watched AMC since the beginning also. I did tune out way back when Tad left and had amnesia (the soap opera disease). I wish they would get him a love interest--looked good with Taylor, but now that she is leaving the show with the move to L.A. that's the end of that. Don't like the idea of Zach leaving. I Wish they would get rid of Ryan instead. He looks like he is the nutty one not Annie. I haven't heard from anything regarding Erica's gal pal OPAL--love her. She is the greatest--wondering about Pete too. Don't know if Palmer is even still alive. Last time he was in the show was in a wheelchair.
Has it ever occured to anyone that Trevor MAY NOT BE David's son. The DNA was never verified. It was just stated that the baby could not be the son of JR. Amanda was going with JAKE before she had the little affair with David.... WHY couldn't the baby be Jake's???????? Anyone else have this same idea?

ARe u kidding me, I love Zach, AMC won't be the same with out him, theu should of did whatever it took to keep him, we'll probably end up losing Alicia Menshew too since she's having a baby. All the soaps are going down the drain, I don't know whats wrong with them, their losing their best actors.
I'm with ya. I don't know if I'll continue watching. So far I've been watching Bold and The Beautiful. It's only 30 mins. long as that is about all I can stand.
I'm so sad that all the actors aren't making the move 2 LA, esp 2 of the hot guys (Thorsten & Aiden)... AWW... I'm soooo gonna miss them! :(
Its sad that Brian froms and Charles Pratt let Aiden Turner go! I am heartbroken I won't see one the most romantic actors I have ever seen!
