"All My Children": Week in Review for July 20, 2009
Not since Macaulay Culkin starred in "Home Alone" has a child caused such a frenzy as little Emma Lavery did this week on "All My Children." Everyone wanted a piece of this kid!
Funniest Moment: The whole Tad/Liza "hide baby Trevor from Liza" debacle. First, we're surprised that Liza's ginger hair wasn't flapping around the hole where her brain escaped from, because a lady lawyer like her knows the difference between a real cry and a baby cry. But that was just weird, not funny. What WAS funny were the lengths that Tad went to in order to keep Liza from noticing the baby -- including kissing her. This was played against the backdrop of Jake doing physical comedy in order to get baby evidence out of the room so Liza didn't notice -- and Taylor/Amanda/Jake and baby Trevor trying to secretly escape Liza's detection. It was a light moment in an otherwise dark week.
WTH? Moment: What's up with this "safe house" that Ryan and Erica stuck Emma in? It's like Grand Central Station -- Liza, Zach, Kendall ... all come trudging in there with the subtly of Lady Gaga at a Mennonite convention. It's shocking that the PVPD hasn't found it yet, and that's only because Jesse and Natalia are too busy worrying about Randi miscarrying (although Zach did tip Jesse at the end of the week).
Runner up is Kendall confessing to Stuart's murder. What's up with this? We're gonna remain silent until it all plays out on Monday, because we're not sure we understand why she did it. It seems like she thinks she just blocked it out. What did you all make of those scenes?

I think Emma killed Stuart. Emma seen Kendall aiming the gun at him, after Kendall ran off Emma grabbed the gun and imitated what Kendall did, only Emma accidently pulled the trigger. That's why annie want Emma to forget what she sawand say it was Kendall who shot Stuart. And now with all the questioning, Emma doesn't know what to say and wants to talk to annie to figure out what to do.
I THINK ERICA DID IT!! AND SHE DOESN'T EVEN REMEMBER BECAUSE IT WAS THE POST TRAUMATIC STRESS OF LOSING HER GRANDSON (REMEMBER WHEN SHE STABBED DIMITRI?)
I don't think Anne did it at all; I think her brother drove her mad; the Ryan dumping her for Greenlee; then Kendall does he really have any love in his heart for these women I don't think so he's a jerk. The Adam theory sounds good; but remember JR was mad that he was letting Scott take over & JR was pissed he could have done it thinking it was Adam. Liza is another thought she hated Adam.
Ok after watching AMC today and hearing what Emma said to Adam...did Adam in his druged state accidently shoot Stuart thinking he was shooting at himself? What's up AMC?
Well, I've been throwing out the Adam Did It theory for a couple of weeks now - it was the only thing that explained why Annie is still there. And of course, she'll use it to her advantage - she's crazy, not stupid.
Adam accidently killed his brother. Because the medicine David gave him.They should arrest David for all the promblem he created.
I agree with realfemale2002, I think Adam did it too! That would be an ultimate twist! I detest the Erica & Ryan romance thing! Age can make a difference and there is too much history with Ryan and Erica's own daughter! With all the years of Erica having every man to come into Pine Valley, why don't they just finally let her marry once & for all till the show does them part!!!
David & that nurse should have be accomplices to stuart's murder if Adam did it under influence of their drugs!
Please someone tell me what is going on with Liza & David dose he have a thing for her or is it that David is still trying to get some DNA to test Liza against the baby to see if it is hers????????
I THINK ADAM KILLED HIS BROTHER WHILE HE WAS ON DAVIDS PILLS HALLUCINATING AND ANNIE KNOWS IT AND SHE IS TRYING TO USE IT TO HER ADVANTAGE TO HELP HERSELF. I BELIEVE ADAM BLOCKED IT OUT OF HIS MIND. I MEAN COME ON WHAT ANNIE SAID DID MAKE SENSE TODAY. SHE HAD NO REASON TO SHOOT ADAM OR STUART.
