Performer of the Week: Daniel Cosgrove as Scott Chandler. We really forgot how much we liked Daniel in this role. He’s injected Scott – a character who hasn’t always had a terribly distinctive personality – with a sarcasm, charm and charisma that’s so welcome. Scott’s sly smile, cut to the chase style and “are you kidding?” demeanor (especially with Greenlee) is refreshing, but Daniel is still able to convey Scott’s sense of fear over the future and regret from the past. Also, he worked a prison jumpsuit, which isn’t easy.
WTH? Moment: Damon and Liza had sex!?!?!?! WHAT?!?!?! That’s her daughter’s man! The whole thing is like a V.C. Andrew novel on crack – or eerily reminiscent of Liza having her own teenage boyfriend sleep with HER mom (as Tad, said boyfriend, observed). Still, it was crazy and awesome.
Best Moment: Natalia and Brot finally have sex! It’s been a slow build with these two, but totally worth it. Between Natalia making herself vulnerable and admitting she was a virgin, to Brot being so sweet in his response. These two are adorable together and it’s about time they got the spotlight.
Funniest Moment: We’re coming up short. What made you guys chuckle this week?
Why We Love All My Children This Week: Brot and Natalia finally getting some romance? Liza making incredibly stupid life decisions? Michael E. Knight getting to act his face off with Jamie Luner? A just–sprung-from-jail-cutie like Scott walking around town? Plus Erica wearing some froofroo jacket with fur sleeves? Need we say more?
