Amanda, Amanda … don't you know that every time someone has a plan in Pine Valley, it goes wrong? ESPECIALLY if the idea comes from Opal? Oy vey. Plus, we had Angie and Frankie getting suspicious of Jesse and all the Kendall-being-stuck-in-a-room-with-nothing-but-hockey-DVDs to really make it a full week. Here are our highlights:
Funniest Moment: We laughed out loud when, on Friday's episode, Erica was stopped dead in her tracks by the site of Ryan doing pull ups. She was so fazed it was hilarious, mostly because her face read shock, along with a little bit of "Damn!" and "Who knew he was that buff?" Which just goes to show you Erica is the most self-involved person on the planet because Ryan's constantly shirtless.
Why We Love "All My Children" This Week: We're going to jump to this one early, because it ties to Erica. We loved that not one, but TWO people called Erica a "national treasure." Because she is. We've been saying it for years. No, seriously, we have been -- ask anyone in this office. Or the East Coast, really.

Is Erica really such a desperate & pathetic woman that she has to be involved with Ryan, who is not only her grandchild's father, but her daughter's ex-lover? I really thought that Erica was better than that type of "Jerry Springer" behavior. And, while Ryan is a gorgeous man, he is really an awful person - he flits from woman to woman, always so "in Love" , involving himself in everyone else's business (what DOES he really do??)and acting like he is so noble and "good" when he is really nothing of the sort - he's the male version of the cliche' busybody....Not to mention - why is Kendall such a "good mom", as everyone is always telling her? She cheats on her husband, lies continunously, and sits in Confusion drinking and emoting - she spends so LITTLE time with her babies that are supposedly so important to her, plus - has everyone forgotten that she killed Greenlee? She can SAY she is upset about that, but she certainly didn't ACT like she gave a thought to Greenlee instead of herself, and sure won't take any personal responsibility for ANY of her actions- she is not a mom I'd want to have. It is unfortunate that today's writers feel like everyone has to pretty much live their lives sitting in a bar, and sleeping around, and we are supposed to buy into the music and mood and feel "romantic" over all this completely irresponsible behavior?? Can there not be a good story involving people who actually live a good life with moral behavior? A sad commentary.....
Due to traveling, I missed 3 weeks of AMC. I think I'm pretty well caught up now. One question - who's Francesca?
i hope that Kendal don't do the time just remain in her home and hope any change to be a better person, hoping that david never take the baby if he does find out she has the baby
I despise the entire Erica and Ryan crapola and they have no chemistry which makes it even more repulsive to watch. Erica is 62 years old and she is skimming the bottom of the barrel to get attention. She had it all with Jack and Pratt can't write well enough to keep their story going. It's no wonder I can't watch this train wreck of a show anymore. There are no highlights for me at all.
No kidding, it is enough to make you want to puke. They way they always make her seem, or that is the way she wants to act is sicking. I can't stand to watch the scenes she is in anymore, she is so phony and bony. Her newest addition to the breasts does not help. Now it just makes it look like she has added bigger balls on to some bones. It is great that she stays in shape but a little weight would look better than bones sticking out every where. She needs to act her age, not her daughters age and does she not own anything that has sleeves on it. Poor thing, she can't act, dress, or find a man her own age. This thing with Ryan is enough to make one puke!!
Highlights? Highlights? Highlights? JR being snarky especially w/ those who deserve it like InsAnnie is always great. Uh? uh? oh and though they are being horribly written it's always great to see more of the few remaining vets...being featured. Though that scene referring to Viagra w/ Adam, Joe, and David was priceless so of course was too short. Another great one, though twisted was David/Opal...him continuously repeating Jake/Amanda to make her heart spike.
Lowlights: Just about everything else w/ Taylor/Tad aka Tweedledumb and Tweedledumber taking the cake. I mean the plan was dumb as can be from the get go. But they managed to take it to another level of stupidity, yet again along w/ their endless/tired dumb comedy act to boot. They actually abandoned the baby. They couldn't have just SAID he was abandoned? NO. They actually put the baby in a basket, left him ALONE...when any predator or animal could have done something to him and then acted like some dumb teenagers, got behind a wall and didn't even keep an eye on him. Then while Tad was talking and they heard the foot steps....Taylor just stood there [w/ what seems to be a permanent doe-eyed/dumb like expression, she has now] like Tad order her to and I guess felt she needed to watch Tad talk on the phone, instead of watching the baby, who was approaching him. Is it that Tad is in need of a brain since his bullet injury that he is now sharing Taylor's? If so, he needs to find another because apparently, there's nothing there either.
Who would have thought that Pratt/Frons could kill Erica Kane. She is dead now and this imposter, who is a simpering old woman who drools over her grandchild's father and her daughter's lover, and can't do her business anymore without this turd interfering, is not the Erica Kane I know and love. She could have Jack. What is wrong with AMC?
I KNEW RANDI TOOK TREVOR. MAYBE SHE IS REALLY LOOSING IT, I FEEL SORRY FOR HER. HOW MANY MONTHS IS ALICIA SHE DOESNT EVEN LOOK PREGNANT TO BE DO IN NOVEMBER? MADISON IS A TOTAL B*TCH. TELL THE MRS. HUBBARD TO LOSE THE WIG, NOT CUTE AT ALL. LOVE THE CHARACTER THOUGH.
