Performer of the Week: Jaime Luner as Liza Colby. Hear us out. Lately -- thanks to her role in David's murder investigation --Liza's been acting as a grade A witch. It's like her mission in life to make people miserable. We want to scream at her -- which means Jamie Luner is doing quite an effective job at making Liza such a good bad girl. But when the subject of Colby, Liza's daughter comes up, a mixture of sadness and regret comes across Liza's face. And Jamie's able to make us feel sympathy for Liza, rather than shout at her. Kudos.
Why We Love All My Children This Week: Pay-offs. The embers of Brot and Natalia started months and months ago. But rather than rush the two into a coupling, the show let us marinate in their friendship and later, professional relationship. As Brot and Natalia got to know each other, we got to know them -- individually and as a potential couple. So when they finally shared their first kiss -- on their first date -- this week, it made the buildup worth everything. With so much turmoil in town, it's nice to see a simple love story play out.
