Funniest Moment: Pine Valley wasn’t exactly a barrel of laughs this week, but that the handcuffs Annie used to link Colby to a table were FUZZY was kind of awesome.
WTH? Moment: David’s gonna avoid jail again!? How does he do it? In this case, when you have the power of Erica Kane and her connections to the Governor, you can do anything. But this guy HAS to get some punishment doled out, right?
Best Moment: We love a catfight, and this week we got Annie vs. Marissa. In an attic. We’re glad that Annie has upped her crazy ratio, because it’s really let Sarah Glendenning step up and shine as a take-no-prisoners Marissa.
Performer of the Week: Walt Willey as Jackson. Always a dependable performer, Walt shined playing Jack’s frustration with Erica – especially after he found out she engineered David’s eventual release from custody. Walt’s able to play that fine balance with Jackson of total love and devotion to Erica, matched with total frustration with her. Is it weird that we love when they fight as much as when they are happy?
Why We Love All My Children This Week: Because it’s All My Children! Watching Susan Lucci, Michael E. Knight, Debbi Morgan and Darnell Williams on The Oprah Winfrey Show reminded us of just how awesome they are. The vintage clips reminded us of all the reasons why we fell in love with AMC - the humor, the romance, the couples, the stories. So we’re just basking in overall AMC love. Did you guys see Oprah? What did you think?
What were your highlights (and lowlights) of this week?

I, too, am sick of Kendall being sick. I know they are doing it to continually throw her together with Griffin. Sorry. Not working for me. I love Kendall. But I love strong, feisty Kendall. I want to see her out there searching for Zach's killer, and she doesn't need any man to help her with that--unless it's Jesse or Tad. It's too soon for any romance to be on her horizon. All her thoughts in that regard are about her soulmate, Zach. I really, really hope since no body was found, and so many mentions of Zach are being made, that there is a chance Zach/TK will return. I hope it happens before any relationship with Griffin or Ricky. Either of those has "fail" written all over it. I also want Jerica back together and I think Scott/Madison shows promise. The rest of the show is pretty awful IMO.
As a huge Kendall fan I have to admit I'm sick of watching her sick! I want a strong Kendall, one who takes her grief and turns it into a mission to find her soulmate Zach. AMC has a wonderful opportunity to regain lost fans by having Kendall "feel" that Zach is out there and needs her as much as she and the boys need him. The Slater connection is so strong that it makes sense that Zach is still alive. Bring back Thorsten Kaye!
WTH moment? Almost every scene in this truly forgettable start to sweeps.
The many mentions of Thorsten Kaye's character Zach Slater has this viewer hopeful that Kendall's soulmate is still alive. A desperate wife searching, through the couple's connection, for her husband's whereabouts. Reuniting Spike and Ian with their daddy, as well as the first embrace between Mr. and Mrs. Slater is what this fan is longing to see!
The best way to help Kendall is for the writers to let her investigate Zach's plane crash with clues along the way that Mr. Slater is alive! Get All My Children's male lead Thorsten Kaye back and Zendall will shine again!
Please let us move on from Kendall in the hospital and her having a medical emergency every single week. I can't wait until she's out of the hospital and starts to look into Zach's "death". She was missing him so much this week, regretting what she can't have (or thinks she can't have) because Zach is "gone", and it seems to me that the best way to move this story along is if Zach is alive and we start to see hints of that. Please, AMC. Meanwhile, Jack finally figured out that Erica is not being honest with him and he did the one thing I've wanted him to do for so long--he walked away from her. Now Erica has to go after her man (Jack), and I hope she does. I'm still liking Scott and Madison together.
Preach it Amanda! *WOOT* ^5
SL/WW made us remember why we love them so much and that their chemistry is off the charts, but I hate this storyline. I hate Cooney and KWAK sniffing around them. I hate Erica playing bimbo and once again getting that criminal, one who helped keep Miranda from her and her family with this sleaze KWAK, out again. We Jerica fans deserve better than this.
I loved Oprah's show and SL and I love that her best husband, and the sexiest, Jackson, was there and that Susan spoke out about their chemistry. WAKE UP AMC
