Funniest Moment: When Colby, totally off the cuff, said to Annie “How’s the weather in koo-koo land?”
WTH Moment?: So Kendall is in the hospital, knows she’s in critical condition and all of a sudden remembers she shot David. Which, yes, is a big deal. Desperate to talk to her mother, Kendall chose to LEAVE THE HOSPITAL AND WANDER THROUGH THE WOODS rather than wait for Erica to call her back. OK, first, duh Kendall. Second, why wander through the woods? Supposedly she got out of a cab but why not at Erica’s house?
Performer of the Week: We’re going to give this to Melissa Claire Egan (Annie), because she’s made Annie’s descent into madness totally watchable and compelling. Is it weird that we sort of feel bad for her? Maybe, but Melissa has gotten us there, so kudos for that.
Best Moment: The Annie/Colby catfight. We love when tough ladies battle on soaps, and this was no exception.
Why We Love All My Children This Week: That Jack and Erica totally got into a huge fight! No, not because we want Jack and Erica apart – quite the opposite – but because it’s good, juicy conflict for them and we love whatever puts them front and center. And also, Jack finally voiced what we’ve been wondering – why is Erica turning to Caleb for all this stuff when she could clearly turn to Jack?
What were your highlights (and lowlights) this week?

The only think i gotta say right now..is im totally enjoying Annie right now before they snatch her from us..I LOVE HER!
and finally...OMG get rid of this woman who moved into Marissa's spot. What a HORRIBLE actress and so unattractive!
I wan't that big of a fan for the last one, but this one..wow...she is disgusting!
Like To see more of Amanda, have her return to her "Bad Girl" days, and dump Jake and The kid.
Kendall is the most sickly person. What happened to the strong, vibrant woman who was like her mom? ITA about the Jerica scenes and the performances but I'm not buying the Bianca thing either. These writers are not Jerica fans which is pretty obvious to me. They have been trying to ruin them all year and Caleb is a bore but the KWAK thing is too much for me too. Jack's not a man who forgets and forgives his family's pain and it's not feasible that he would even hire her (I'd love to know when KWAK got her paralegal degree. When she was in the trailer park screwing truck drivers or in between baby kidnappings and selling her own kid?) let alone become involved with her. I'll be FF that thank you.
I am not watching that much anymore because I HATE what they have done to Jerica, but I did see those scenes you are talking about. The performances were stellar but sorry I'm not buying this Bianca thing again. Been there, done that too many times and they've resolved it. They only want a pitiful excuse to put Erica with that boring lout and Jack with that God Awful kidapping/baby selling trailer trash. I feel the end is near so I'll be tuning out again. Too bad SL/WW's chemistry will be wasted with two people they share none with and who's characters make no sense with them. AMC is really at the bottom of the barrel these days.
My sympathies to Alicia Minshew and her character Kendall Hart-Slater. Ms. Minshew has spent years developing Mrs. Slater into a independent, feisty woman. An actress of her calibur deserves more than a far-fetched story, which forces an unpopular agenda. Like Kendall, I miss Zach (and Thorsten Kaye), too!
Kendall expressing her love and need for her husband is the only thing that interested me. As much as I love and respect Alicia Minshew, these writers have gone over the top. This ridiculous storyline for one unpopular purpose. Please hire creative writers that will work out an agreement with Thorsten Kaye, bringing back Zach Slater and Zendall!
i soooooooooooototally agree
OK where should I start,
1. Get rid of the crazy Annie stuff with Jr. if your going to make her crazy get her a new storyline outside of the chandler house hold.
2. Stop painting Ryan a hero. He is ugly as hell and makes me barf all day.
3. End the rylee stuff already.Make greenlee realize that her relationship with Ryan can not work. That her one and true soul mate is Leo. But, she still has some sort of unexplainable connection to David. She hates him more then anything but loves him death/and or misses what they had. It was something new and refreshing. She wouldn't go to David or would she. The reason why she was after mads was really to prove to herself that she was really in love with Ryan. (which she wasn't.) mads tells Ryan about the baby, but stays with Scott. This new greenlee s/l could bring back some viewers. Dalee isn't completely destroyed.
4.Get rid of Cara and griffin because they are so unnecessary and wasting amc's money.
5.Get Bianca a s/l other than she meets someone and that someone cheats on her. Get her a love interest but tie it into something.
6. Show more of the Hubbard's. You had a s/l potectal there with the mayor and Angie's pregnancy. Mayor corruption Jessy having a tough decision and having to beat the influence of the mayor. Discovering gov't of Pine Vally ties to underground crime or something.
7.Get Frankie and Randi a s/l.
8.bring back the flying pictures opening.
9. do something with whiny Colby.
10.Listen to fans and turn things around.
I don't know whether the writers are stupid or if they simply think the viewers are stupid. We are all willing to grant soaps a certain amount of unreality but everything about Kendall's situation was so poorly done. She's all hooked up to monitors, yet none of them go off when she leaves--nobody in the whole freakin' hospital sees her leave--the cab driver drops her in the woods. And we're supposed to applaud Griffin for stealing drugs??? As a member of Doctors without Borders, he should be aware of legitimate charitable programs that provide drugs to poor countries. I am sick of having my intelligence insulted. AM's performance is great. The rest sucks. This show really needs Thorsten Kaye/ Zach and Zendall--although I'm not sure they could do anything with this horrible writing. Maybe they could just make up their own lines. Works for me.
This entire story with Kendall is a WTH? for me. From a weekly life/death crisis...to wandering in the woods. AM was, once again, amazing in her performance when talking about missing Zach....needing Zach. I miss and need TK/Zach AND Zendall too! Why is it so difficult to use AM's talents to tell a story for a strong Kendall...one that doesn't need to be protected from the truth (Ryan)...and one that doesn't need to be saved...over and over and over again? I think AM is amazing...but, this story and writing are lacking to say the least.
Annie going crazy over a man who doesn't deserve the time of day from her? Been there, done that.
