All My Children Week in Review: Week of December 13, 2010

Funniest Moment: Not a ton of laughs this week, but Opal fawning over Griffin always makes us chuckle. What made you guys laugh this week?

WTH? Moment: We love that forgiveness is in Randi’s nature, but why in the heck is she friends with Madison? We were reminded of how totally bizarre this is when Madison was going on and on about her dilemma of being pregnant to Randi and then said (essentially), “Oh Gosh, I’m complaining about my pregnancy when I caused your miscarriage! My bad!” And Randi acted like it was water under the bridge. Huh?

Best Moment: Kendall storming into Greenlee’s Fusion meeting and going head to head with her. The resulting conflict – which was messy, hurtful and borne out of the women’s (strained) love for each other – was classic Kendall and Greens.

I can't believe that someone thinks that Greenlee is Kendall soulmate in a way are you crazy Zach's and only Zach's is Kendall's soulmate. Greenlee has alway been about Greenlee never has she been there for Kendall the way Kendall has been there for Greenlee. Bring back Zach/Thorsten Kendall and the boys need him.

I'm not surprised Ryan and Greenlee made have made Kendall's grief and mourning all about them. That's the way this so called friendship has always been...Kendall giving and Greenlee (and or Ryan) taking. Kendall has lost her husband, her soulmate, her children's father, the love of her life. She can deal with it however she chooses, including wanting space from Greenlee, Ryan, and Bianca.

I have never bought Kendall and Greenlee as friends much less soulmates. Kendall's soulmate is Zach. Kendall, AMC, and viewers (like me) need Zach and TK back. Make it happen AMC/ABC!

Count me as one of those who am not impressed at all with Griffin. He's bossy and sanctimonious and overbearing and obnoxious. I hate the way he manhandles people and acts like he knows better than everyone else when he's the new guy in town and knows nothing about anybody. He's very Ryan-like, in the worst sense of the word, but I suppose we're supposed to think he's perfect. However, one of the things I loved about Zach Slater was that he WASN'T perfect. He had--HAS--flaws and a dark side and fought against all odds to be the man he was and for the love of his life, his soulmate. I want Zach back. His departure has left a gaping hole in Pine Valley, one that no pretty boy can fill. I have yet to see the man who's a better match for Kendall, and he's the only one I'll accept for her, no matter what the writers tell me to think.

Bring back Thorsten Kaye!

I have to disagree about your pick for "best moment"...at least the way it was described. Their "strained" love for each other. Kendall may love Greenlee...but, Greenlee only loves Greenlee. I am so tired of this supposed friendship between Kendall and the Green One. Kendall is the one who lost her husband...and yet, she is supposed to be concerned how Greenlee feels? Kendall should worry if she is hurting Greenlee's feelings. Greenlee's concerns aren't for Kendall...Greenlee is concerned about what Greenlee needs. She needs Kendall to need her...she needs Kendall to be focused on Greenlee. It is simply too one sided...Kendall is always the one who is supposed to give...and Greenlee simply takes and gives nothing in return (unless of course it benefits Greenlee). Kendall is irrational because she is hurting Greenlee's feelings? Ryan decides that at the time when Kendall is mourning the loss of her soulmate...that is the best time to make the conversation about Greenlee? Rylee are the gruesome twosome...such an appropriate name for them...they couldn't care less about what Kendall actually needs...they simply care about what THEY think she needs...and they aren't friends, they are leaches. The ONLY saving grace on AMC is Alicia Minshew. The writing is pretty simplistic...it is AM's abilities that have taken the story to a much higher level. These writers should thank her for making them look good...at least in this ONE thing on AMC.

Griffin (aka Ryan II), just what this show needs. Another freaking hero...who knows all...the voice of reason to the masses...lectures all around...and can take his shirt off with the best of them. I have no doubt we will be getting about Griffin the overkill we already get with Ryan...everyone saying how "great" he is. He is awesome. He is the best man in PV. He is amazing. Blah, blah, blah.

AMC is VOID of romance. They are pretty VOID on pairings that have chem. AMC/ABC needs to get Thorsten Kaye back as Zach Slater. They need to return Zendall to the screen...with their return, there is insta romance. Their chem is off the charts. TK brings out the best in AM...and AM brings out the best in TK. There is a huge VOID left with the exit of TK/Zach...and there isn't any male that can fill that void. AMC is in trouble...they need to get TK/Zach back.

It is mind-boggling the ability of AMC to make me hate Ryan, Greenlee and Bianca even more than I already do. Greenlee showed her true colors yesterday displaying every color of selfish be-yotch. Greenlee truly is pond scum. Kendall had every right to blast her. There is no "friendship" between these two women despite what ABC and AMC constantly tries to claim. Greenlee is a parasite who perpetually paints herself as Kendall's victim even though Greenlee is the one doing the horrible things and Kendall is the TRUE victim. How many times has Kendall told Greenlee to leave her alone and the one time she does, she attempts a coup in taking Kendall's company. Ryan is a hypocrite of the biggest magnitude and Bianca is once again earning her name of "Bit-chianca". She's exhibiting the same selfish, arrogant qualities as she did during Charles Pratt's reign of terror. And this new character of Griffin? Ryan 2.0 and that's not a compliment. He's an arrogant, chauvanistic bully who is just one step away of being a woman abuser. The one shining good thing on the show continues to be the amazing Alicia Minshew. Aside from Erica she's been surrounded by wastes of spaces. It's time to bring back Thorsten Kaye to show the rest of these "boys" a real man and give Alicia a worthy screen partner.

I am waiting for Kendall to find somwone to have grief sex with as that is what she always does when Zach is gone. I really hate when there is a mystery going on that everyone tells Jessie and the police dept what to do and why. Why is everyone always in the interview room expressing what the police dept. should do. And since when can a lawyer be an advocate for someone who is and was her client. Did David sign papers with her. And does Liza do her paperwork at Confusion or at Krystal's. As D.A. doesn't she have enouhg prestige to have her own office? This show is almost unwatchable.

Everyone involved should just let Kendall breathe and adjust to living without her soulmate and the love of her life. Being a good friend means that you don't push yourself and your opinions of how they should be dealing with the kind of loss that Kendall is now facing. Who are they to tell her how to feel? Greenlee, Ryan and her betraying sister are users that take and take and are never really there for Kendall. I wish she would cut these toxic people out of her life for good.
Don't even get me started I do not like Griffin I think he is a pushy overbearing jerk. I don't want him anywhere near Kendall or her boys. Keep him with the Jake, Amanda and Cara storyline. He has good chemistry with Amanda. They would make a good couple. Last of all AMC and ABC should be doing all they can to bring back Thorsten Kaye. The show is not the same without him.

Friday's episode was a textbook example of why AMC is losing viewers. Tptb continue to beat viewers over the head with who/what they want us to like, rather than listening to what we love.

Rylee are not real friends to Kendall. Despite Kendall having lost the love of her life, husband, soulmate, everything, Greenlee presents herself as the "victim" of 'not herself'' Kendall. Ryan stressed that he and Greenlee want to be part of Kendall's life, with no regard for what Kendall wants. Complete self centeredness, not the selfless act of a friend.

What irritated me most was both Ryan and Griffin discussing what Zach would want. Zach wanted Kendall less involved with her 'needy friends.' Griffin, who barely knew Zach and only in a professional capacity, had the nerve to lecture Kendall, who knows Zach better than anyone, wbout Zach's vision. What a crock! Let Griffin continue in the Cara, Jake and Amanda storyline. Stop telling me how wonderful he is. Opal is wrong to fawn over him. I've seen only an arrogant bully. As so many others have said, one ryan is more than enough - too much actually.

This story can only be fixed by one thing: the return of Zach Slater, as played by Thorsten Kaye. Kendall, Ian, Spike, the viewers and All My Children need him back pronto. I can barely tolerate the show without him. Alicia Minshew's performance is the only saving grace. Bring Zach back, reunite Team Slater and give them the story of building the Miranda Center international effort. They and we are long overdue a Zendall together story.

First, I just wanna say that i'm appalled at this 'IDEA' of Kendall/GreenLee are suppose to be BFF's and that Ryan/Bianca seems to think that they 'need' one another.....GreenLee is not now nor has she ever been FRIEND to Kendall and I for one am glad that Kendall wants nothing to do with GreenLee and that she can only stomach Ryan's presence as Spike's father(still waiting on the DNA results that proves this to be true)...Kendall can choose to grieve in whatever manner she feels is best for her to cope for herself and her adorable little babies that are missing the presence of their father...Kendall can choose to work and avoid grieving if that's also what she chooses and deems the 'best' for the continued well-fare of herself and children.....

I find GreenLee to be a selfish ass pest that brings nothing but HARM to Kendall...GreenLee wasn't looking out for Kendall as evident in GreenLee's first sentence to the heads of departments-'she's in charge now and running things'-you own Half of this company by which she shouldn't since she spends more time trying to destroy it than she does cultivating it......

I'm further appalled by Bianca(just on principle) and Ryan feeling like and discussing the manner in which Kendall chooses to grieve as if they know the proper protocal and the general air of these two that seems to think they 'know Best for Everyone'...AMC made a huge huge mistake on wasting money hiring a Bianca when she serves NO PURPOSE to the show or on screen(there are enough NON Do-Gooders already)..

Opal has always been a caricature, but for heavens sake, she is way over the TOP with this Griffin character whose being written as another Ryan Lavery whom incidentally isn't exactly a 'fan fave' or Lead character-just a cock-roach that won't die(like GreenLee)no matter how many times he's killed...

Griffin so far, is a man that seems to think way too much of himself and his importance-which I have yet to figure out exactly what he contributes by his presence....if he's suppose to aid in the expansion of the Miranda Center, then he should definitely pack up for the Jungle cause not one person would miss his presence.....

Friday's show was the first full episode I've watched since before Zach "died", I usually just watch the clips of Zach and Kendall. After watching I have to agree with the majority of what's being said here
Kendall just lost the love of her life, she is trying to adjust to life with her sons without their Father. All her needy friends can think of is how she's not letting them "in" so she is being
irrational. They need to step back, leave her alone and take bianca with them. How long did it take bianca to let Kendall in on what was really happening between her and reese, I still don't she think knows the "real" story behind their breakup. greengnat wanted nothing to do with Kendall when she woke up and realized Kendall's life didn't stop because she was dead, so she needs to realize she started the chain of events that lead to what's happening now (even if the writers don't). ryan is still the a$$ he's always been, he hated Zach so now he's coming off as a hypocrite to me. griffin is a non-enity, he doesn't count and never will in my book, and I'm sure if Zach knew he was going to "die" he would have made sure Kendall had control over every aspect of the what was happening with the MC..so he can FOAD.....
