All My Children Week in Review: Week of 1/17/11

Funniest Moment: When Bianca questioned the burgeoning connection between Caleb and Erica, Lady Empress retorted back “Of course there is a connection! I can’t help it that men are attracted to me!” Oh, Erica.

 

WTH? Moment: What the heck is Erica smoking, leaning on Caleb so much and basically shutting Jack out? Not only is Jack smart and awesome, but he WANTS to help Erica, legally and emotionally. Why is Erica not accepting it – but willing to take it from Caleb?

 

Best Moment: David wakes up! Particularly because it happened like 4.5 seconds after Erica got off the hook for shooting him (even though she didn’t, Kendall did). Now that’s a cliffhanger.

 

Performer of the Week: We’re going to give this to Shannon Kane (Natalia) and JR Martinez (Brot). Their post-coital scenes, where Natalia freaked out because she thought Brot loved her and left her (he really just went to get breakfast) were sweet and Shannon, in particular, really laid Natalia’s emotions on the table. Plus, these two are so cute together in general they deserve a shout out.

 

Why We Love All My Children This Week: Because Ryan proposed to Greenlee! Which means that David’s going to be furious, and that the secret Madison is keeping is that much bigger. Basically, more drama, which we love. Also, we loved that Erica wears high heeled boots.

I am not into watching Jack or Erica with anyone but one another. So if that's the route AMC is going than I'm done with this show.

Kystal stole Miranda. Jack would never want her. Cooney and Eriaca have no chemistry. Jerica all the way.

There is NO chemistry between Erica and Cooney
THere is NO chemistry between Jack and that KWAK-napper
There is ALL THE CHEMISTRY between Erica/Jack.
There IS chemistry beween Cooney/KWAK.
So why is AMC messing it all up and driving fans away?

Give me a break with waning that kidnaping tramp with Jackson. KWAK is a loser and should have died with Babe and no way I want her near Jackson. Jack and Erica are the couple the majroity want but AMC plays too many of the same tricks over and over with these loser 3rd parties coming between them. Just mature Erica and give us our Jerica. Send KWAK/Cooney back to the mountains where they belong

KWAK has NO chemistry with Jackson and she is the kidnapper of his niece so keep her away from him. JACK AND ERICA NEED TO STAY TOGETHER and let KWAK have Cooney

Lowlight: Frankie and Randi STILL without their own storyline.

There's no excuse for the lack of storyline and screen time for Frankie and Randi. They're one of the hottest couples on television. Cornelius Smith Jr., Denise Vasi and their many devoted fans deserve better.
