All My Children: Week in Review for September 21, 2009
There might not have been any horizontal tangoing going on this week in Pine Valley, but as All My Children waltzed into Week Two of the dance-a-thon, the drama (and cat-fighting!) was plentiful. In fact, is it possible for the "Why We Love AMC This Week," "WTH?," "Funniest," and "Best" moments to all be the exact same thing? Oh, it's not? OK, fine. But you have to admit, Erica flushing Annie in the Fusion toilet was quite priceless. The swirly aside, here is our take on everything that happened on and off of the ballroom ... er, Fusion office floor.
WTH? Moment: So let's get this straight: Annie's been successfully keeping the secret for months now that her daughter actually killed Stuart, so when she finally starts blabbing to Ryan, where does she decide to do it? A public dance marathon, of course. WTH?! Whether it's the truth or not, why on earth would you confide such a carefully guarded secret while you are doing the cha-cha in a room filled with dozens of people? Oh, and did we mention it was televised, so cameras and microphones were surely everywhere? And Annie wasn't the only one guilty of this. It seems everyone was discussing private matters on the dance floor: Zach, Jesse, Randi, Liza, Erica, Ryan ... no wonder secrets never stay secret for long in Pine Valley.
Runner-up: Jake tried to steal David's son ... again?! Will he ever learn? And while we're discussing Jake, was anyone else scared that adorable baby Trevor was going to topple right out of his arm? Hold on tight, that's precious cargo!

I HATE The Erica and Ryan pairing! PLEASE! It is too much.
I also am sick of Kendal being so selfish and self destructive. I know that is her basic nature, but leaving the room all the time with no concern for anyone else has to stop.
These two aspects of the show are really turning me off.
I watched All My Children once last week to see if the story about Stuart had ever ended, It had not. So I will tune in one day this week to see. I will say this much about the Stuart's Death Story it will go down in my book as the longesttttttt story to be solved in the history of soaps.... Good?you have got to be kidding. I think the writers are like that movie fifty first dates........ No wonder Soaps are getting axed.... I beginning to think the networks want this. Ratings ratings ratings. It just seems to me that if the writers,actors,director,producers want to keep their jobs they would do something to improve the show. Sure lots can find other work, but I see so many new actors on the big screen as well as the small. The actors will have the hardest time.The writers will to if this is the best they can do. Soaps may be seeing their last days. Cost cost cost,I feel this has a lot to do with it. After axing Days they showed a rerun of the price is right.....I'm sure that saved the network lots of money......
I really think Annie need a break from being treated like the animal of the show. I mean why can't she see her little girl. There so many others that were tthat night including her little girl. It's Ryan whose the bad guy, did you see the way he kick Annie to the curb when he thought he had a chance of getting back with Greenlee, I remember Ryan cooning Annie for her hand in marriage before Greenlee return. Then at some point he takes her child away , accuses her of everything under the sun.making sure that at every court hearing he's there putting her down. Is this because he miss Greenlee so much or is it because he's still blaming Annie for Greenleedeath. Kendell no better, she did all she could to break Ryan and Annie apart. And too. Now Kendall is sleeping and in love with Ryan the only reason she is not with him is because he dump her. It's time to move on what's next. Are Annie and Adam getting married. Let something good happen for Annie.

HER DAUGHTER'S EX AND BABYDADDY!!! NOW THATS NASTY IF IT WERE ANOTHER YOUNG FELLA IT WOULDNT MATTER SO MUCH I THINK. I MEAN LOOK AT ANNIA AND ADAM. I THINK ITS CUTE ERICA WANTING A YOUNGER MAN AND ITS STILL GOOD SHE CAN PULL ONE BUT NOT RYAN. TOO BAD KENDALL DAMN NEAR SLEPT WITH EVERYONE IN PINE VALLEY SO I GUESS ERICA'S JUST GOING TO HAVE TO TRAVEL TO LLANVIEW OR PORT CHARLES FOR HER SWEET YOUNG THANG. RANDI IS TOO CUTE FOR WHAT SHE HAS ON IN THIS DANCEATHON SHE LOOKS LIKE AN OLD MAID. CUDOS TO NATALIA SHE GOT REAL GANGSTA WITH MADISON!!!!!!WAY 2 STEP UP GURL!!!!!!!!!
The disgusting Ryan/Erica romantic idiocy makes me sick and I can't watch this show anymore because of it. PLEASE bring back our Jackson to save o ur Diva
Erica and ryan kissing with the lowest of the low. I hate this pairing and I hate all that it represents. Will Erica ask Ryidiot if she's "good" like her daughter Kendall and her step-daughter Greenlee? UGH. REVOLTING.
Is this some kind of joke? Comparing the sublime TK with JL is just ludicrous. I never saw you give dual accolades to him and AM before and they've been knocking out of the park for years. Even of all the other previous actresses that TPTB have tried to insert between Zendall, JL is the worst of the lot by a mile. Yet you single her out. GMAB
TK excels at "less is more." Always has. That's what I love about him. JL is less all right--way less.
Well one comment is true, JL always delivers less. She's horrible on daytime. I do agree she's not flashy but she's squinty. And I actually laughed when she tried to cry. Someone should have given her an onion to peel.
TK was very good but I can do without JL.
