All My Children: Week in Review for May 2, 2011

Ryan Lavery, Greenlee Smythe, All My ChildrenWhen it comes to looking back on the best, craziest, most dramatic moments on All My Children this week, we know what we think. But what we really want to know is what YOU think? What were your picks for this week's funniest moment? Or best performer? We've got some talking points to get you all started, but give us your own picks in the comments below!

Funniest Moment: We're very concerned for Erica's plight, but how funny is it that her kidnapper walks around in heels when going about her shady business. You'd cover a lot more ground in flats, you mysterious figure!

WTH? Moment: Loved Angie's reaction to Amanda's "plan" to get pregnant even though Jake doesn't want to. That is a spectacularly WTH idea.

Performer of the Week: Darnell Williams as Jesse Hubbard, for yet another corker of a scene as Jesse mourns the death of his child in solitude. That scene at the lonely grave was yanking on all sorts of heartstrings.

Best Moment: Ryan finally finding out that Greenlee knew that Madison's baby was Ryan's AND made a deal with Scott to keep Madison away from Ryan. ...Okay, well when you put it that way, it does sound kind of bad.

Why We Love All My Children This Week: Not sure what was better: Erica's righteous fury at reading a newspaper column going after Bianca, or Bianca correctly predicting her mother's reaction.

So let's hear YOUR favorite AMC moments this week!

Thorsten/Zach can not return soon enough for me. I feel so bad for Alicia/Kendall being stuck with these boys that act worst then 2 year olds. I liked Kendall punching Griff in the stomach.

The propping for Griffin, a character with very little history on All My Children, has reached the legendary Erica Kane. Instead of professing that Dr. Castillo could never hurt anyone because he saved Kendall's life, Erica, written in character, would look into his backgroud because she knows very little about him.
I am hopeful that the returns of fan favorites Thorsten Kaye and Cady McClain will give the show a shot in the arm, focusing on veterans in front-burner storylines.

Thorsten Kaye cannot return soon enough to take Kendall away from the two boys. Mrs. Slater's interactions with Griffin are painful to watch. Kendall is a strong, independent woman with children of her own. I do not appreciate the fact that she is constantly being told what to do and being physically grabbed to get a point across. I want Kendall to find her husband Zach alive and I'll enjoy the Team Slater reunion!

My favorite moment was Kendall punching Griffin in the gut. I could watch that all day. LOL Second best was Greenlee getting rejected by Ryan even if it is only temporary. Speaking of heels, I love that the maid Maya wears heels while doing her housework. LOL It's still amusing that the writers feel the need to tell us every.single.day that Griffin saves lives, because you know if left to our own devices, we might not get the message that he is our HERO. ugh Hurry back Thorsten so we can see a real man again. I still like Madison and Scott. And just because it cannot be said often enough, please change your mind about cancelling our soaps--or make it possible for another network to take them on.

I'm with you on Best Moment. I've been waiting for Greenlee to get hers and with Ryan finally figuring everything out, justice was served. I'm also torn about Emma. On the one hand, she's going too far, stealing Greenlee's wallet and ditching school to try to see Annie, but on the other hand, I like it when Greenlee struggles with Emma. Couldn't happen to a nicer stepmom! WTH? Moment--every time Ricky stares at, or talks to, Zach's photo. I understand that he wants to be Zach and thinks (mistakenly) that he's eliminated him, but it's pretty funny, watching Ricky talk to a character who hasn't been on the show in six months. Nice way to keep the wonderful and soon-to-return Thorsten Kaye front and center on the show, AMC! It's strange, but I'll never say no to photos of Zach with his family or on his own. Hottest Moment--David and Liza. They look great together, which leads me to Funniest Moment--Liza pretending she and David hadn't just slept together when Greenlee questioned them at ConFusion, and Liza said that David had car problems and that his oil needs to be changed because it's pretty disgusting. She was pretty mad at David so that line had double meaning.
