All My Children: Week in Review for March 21, 2011

Scott Chandler, Madison North, All My ChildrenWhen it comes to looking back on the best, craziest, most dramatic moments on All My Children this week, we know what we think. But what we really want to know is what YOU think? What were your picks for this week's funniest moment? Or best performer? We've got some talking points to get you all started, but give us your own picks in the comments below!

Funniest Moment: Caleb standing off to the side and reacting to Erica and Jack talking about the bachelor action. That man can pull off an eye-roll.

WTH? Moment: Emma is being so mean to Greenlee! It's not exactly surprising, given who her mother is, but still!

Performer of the Week: Jordi Villasuso as Griffin Castillo, who managed to be sexy, funny, and tortured about how his dangerous investigation is affecting Kendall.

Best Moment: Scott and Madison's cute late-night conversation about the various weird things they've noticed about each other. Cute moment from two people obviously falling in love.

Why We Love All My Children This Week: Frankie acting so protective of Madison still. Frankie's such a good guy!

So let's hear YOUR favorite AMC moments this week!

You can't really blame Emma for the way she is acting. That child is so confused. Her father has a new lover every 6 months and she can't really bond with anyone. Her mother took her on a wild ride and filled her head with hate for everyone except Madison, so no wonder the child only wants Madison. Plus her father is sending her mother to the one place that she didn't want to go. That child is in serious need of counseling.

I'm so sick of people hating on Jordi Villasuso just because they're still pissed that Thorsten Kaye left the show. GET OVER IT. He's moved on, and so should you. Furthermore, I think there is definitely chemistry between Griffin and Kendall. They are two of the main reasons that I watch AMC these days. I love them together. And I wish people would stop crying about how she should be more concerned about Zach's death instead of falling in love with Griffin. She almost died from her grief! Does no one remember that?! She still loves Zach, and that's obvious, but it's been months and she has to move on sometime. It's a TV show, people. I just wanted to make it known to everyone reading these comments that not everyone feels so negatively about Jordi Villasuso's acting and/or the Griffin and Kendall storyline. Keep up the good work, AMC!

Performer of the week IMO is a tie between Danielle Parker & Jacob Young.

Danielle's Emma turning on GreenMe was a sight to behold, and yeh that's how she should feel. Mom is gone, you're stuck w/ Rylee, that kid just lost her mom, AJ could learn a thing or two from her.

Jacob's JR has brought the sexy/deceit/power back into this sometimes lifeless show.He lost Annie, now is jumping to the first thing available, and on the side is doing it for selfish intentions, his family, his idea of what he should have, meanwhile using anything or anyone in his path.Any excuse. To be doing this w/ so many changing partnered scenes, he went from scenes w/ DC to MCE to VI to CS to RPG to NH to the god awful actors in Cameron Mathison and Sarah Glendening and last night had his first dialogue w/ Stephanie Gatschet. For that he's my performer of the week. Diamond in the ruff in these low times for AMC.

Funniest Moment - I agree with Caleb's eye rolling.
WTH Moment - Liza walking into a bar wearing a dress that looks like it's half falling off her and then complaining that people are looking at her.
Performer - Scott. He just keeps getting better as an actor.
His sincerety is coming through, and I'm liking him more and more.
Best Moment - Dr. Joe showing up at the hospital and directly questioning Cara...to the point. It was good to have him back. The show is lacking senior characters (Opal and Erica are hardly senior role models).
Why we love AMC - because AMC at its worst is still better than no AMC at all.

I beg to disagree about JV/Griffen's performance this week. I saw nothing that was even close to sexy, funny or tortured. His performances are always the same no matter who he is with. He has only one expression and his voice rarely changes with the dialog. His scenes with Kendall are stiff and awkward and AM usually has to carry the scene alone. They have zero chemistry and the character of Griffen has not been flushed out by the writers. He and Ricky are both cartoon characters - one totally evil and the other "white night" good. Both have no layers. They are one note and that makes them boring. Zach was flawed and complex and that is what made him so fascinating to watch. Griffen turns me off and the contrived writing for a transparent agenda makes this s/l a failure from all aspects. It is just too simplistic and predictable and IMO has no potential.
Cara on the other hand has been flushed out and developed as an interesting character and her pairing with Tad/MEK is a good choice. So far their story has potential if the writers head in the direction of their relationship growing into something other than a fake marriage.
Today's scenes between Scott and Madison were delightful. They were very well written and the actors played the scenes with humor and romantic overtones. These two are a good match as a couple because of the chemistry between them and I hope that the writing continues in that direction.

Bring Thorsten Kaye. (ZACH) back Kendall needs a real man her man.
Performer of the week s/ b the girl who plays Emma she was priceless
wtf moment Dr. Stalker grabbing Kendall so hard that I'm sure Alicia has a bruise. Randy & Greenlee commenting on the"date" I threw up a little. Kendall & Dr. Stalker have No chemistry. You can have his shirt off all the time but it still doesn't change that fact. Let Kendall & Jesse figure out who killed Zach or better yet please let them find him alive. Bring Zach home.

The Kendall/Griffin relationship is ridiculous, one sided, and full of WTH moments. The two actors have NO chemistry and I find myself fast forwarding through all their scenes. They bore me. Tad/Cara, Scott/Madison and David/Liza are all great, though! More of them, less of Sniffin' Griffin, please.

I am enjoying Kendall and Griffin a lot more than I thought I would. Their scenes today in particular were excellent. I especially appreciate the fact that Kendall is being allowed to mourn Zach- but that she's beginning to realize she's still alive. Jordi V is doing a nice job with a very tricky role. Keep it up, AMC!!

I'm so tired of Griffin/Kendall storyline. It's sooooooo fake. Kendall Slater should be mixing it up in the business world and taking care of her kids and self not in the mix with the loser Priest and Dr. Griff. AMC writers should be ashamed of themselves for the writing of the overall show. No wonder there is strong rumor of the show being cancelled. There is no one, couple or storyline to root for. It would be nice to see Zach Slater/Thorsten Kaye return and see Zach/Kendall do their slow burn magic again. Now those two are hot and amazing, but what I'm seeing on my screen with Dr. Griff/Kendall/Priest is really embarrassing.
