When it comes to looking back on the best, craziest, most dramatic moments on All My Children this week, we know what we think. But what we really want to know is what YOU think? What were your picks for this week's funniest moment? Or best performer? We've got some talking points to get you all started, but give us your own picks in the comments below!
Funniest Moment: Erica had a gloriously catty bit of fun at Krystal's expense after Krystal fell off of Jack's boat. "You reek of desperation ... and seaweed."
WTH? Moment: This Sarah person? Who keeps hitting on Griffin, with the bottle of champagne and cheap come-ons? A little obvious, lady.
Performer of the Week: Darnell Williams and Debbi Morgan as Jesse and Angie Hubbard. The entire week was one big highlight reel for the both of them, from Angie's doubts through the baby switch, and beyond, including ...
Best Moment: Jesse burying his dead child while the rest of the family happily gathers around Angie and the baby Jesse swapped. Pain and intrigue!
Why We Love All My Children This Week: Griffin's cute picnic date for Kendall. We like his style.
So let's hear YOUR favorite AMC moments this week!

I cannot believe for the life of me that Darnell Williams and Debbi Morgan agreed to go along with this wretched story line of Lucy/Ellie. This is so far from Jesse's character that i can't see straight David Kreizman and Donna Swajeski ought to be fired for writing something this stupid. And the reason that Jesse gave for this doesn't amount to anything. Everyone wonders why AMC has been threatened, or so rumor has/had it, to be cancelled. With crappy writing like this it's no wonder that AMC's ratings are in the cellar. This can't continue and certainly is not going to have a good outcome for anyone. It sickens me to no end. WORST storyline ever on AMC.
I really liked the Griffin/Kendall date this past week. I think the overall lightness of their interactions (so far) was a really nice counterweight to the devastating drama of the Jesse/Angie babyswap.
Speaking of the Jesse/Angie story... I'm not sure how I feel about it. I think the acting so far is amazing, and they did a nice job of setting up WHY it happened: I just don't see how this can possibly end anything other than horribly for Jesse and Angie, and that makes me sad.
ITA. Cooney and KWAK must die. JERICA MUST PREVAIL
I have no best. I have worst. The skank Carey kidnapper acting like the tramp that she is going after the uncle of the child she STOLE is the bottom of the barrel. I was so hoping ERica would throw Miranda's kidnapping up to that criminal's face. Caleb Cooney, who makes watching paint dry more excting than watching him, going after a woman who loves someone else and playing with her head. Wasn't this pondscum the same whining, crying, pathetic loser who cried foul when big, bad, Adam Chandler stole his woman? Obviously if he is doing it to someone it doesn't count? AMC needs to kill off the skank and the bore. JERICA ALWAYS
I will give DW and DM performers of the week...they have done wonderfully. Unfortunately, the story is a turn off for me. I did NOT want Jangie's baby to die. However, if that was the direction the writers wanted to go...it would have been far more dramatic (and character driven) to have them dealing with the loss of their child. Maybe even cause angst for them as they deal with it separately instead of pulling together in their grief. Could still have had the other baby in the story...brought to the hospital...Angie finds out and bonds with the baby in her grief. It would have been emotional to watch...but, that I would have watched. Instead I get a story with a stray baby, who conveniently comes along in time for the baby swap. And lest I forget, I get a dead baby buried in an unmarked, shallow grave. Too contrived and too "ugly" for my taste. The baby dying could have and should have been dramatic enough...sometimes, less is more, unfortunately these writers don't know or understand that concept.
Less is more is a theme in this comment. And it is true, IMO, for the character of Griff. My goodness, I get it. He is a great guy, he has to beat women off with a stick. He saves lives. He saved Kendall's life. Four months of this character and of those points being made...why is it necessary to continue to beat that drum in every scene he is in? Why the need to have a walk-on character to tell me he saved his life? Less is more.
Less is more. There was no one better at "less is more" than TK/Zach. The man knows how to speak volumes without saying a word. Whether it is love for his wife...or concern for Ian/Spike...or anger or sadness or happiness...he conveys that with his eyes or with the slightest of gestures. There isn't a need to write it into dialogue over and over again...it is evident. The reason TK/Zach is such a layered character, is because he is flawed. He is an anti-hero...not all good all the time and not all bad all the time. His passions are what drives him. His departure has left a major hole in the "anti-hero" department...as there isn't one on this show. AMC has become too black/white with the way the writing has made characters either "good guys" or "bad guys" and writing to each extreme. Getting TK/Zach back on AMC, won't fix all the problems...but, it would be a step in the right direction. It would add a dimension to this show that does not exist. It would also add something else AMC is lacking...romance and chemistry in a couple. This show is filled with a "nice" couple here and there...or couples that don't have much rooting value. There isn't one couple that "lights up the screen"...not the way TK/AM have PROVEN they can...pretty much from the very first scene they did so long ago.
I agree with you nikluvgh. I too am so angry that the writers had Angie's baby die. She had been through so much. Can't she and Jesse have a baby and a normal life? Darnell was without a doubt the performer of the week. I'm getting teary eyed just thinking about his struggle. And for him to have to go through that without Angie is just heartbreaking. But you know Cara won't let it go. She is nothing but a trouble maker. I don't like the actress either.
i am so angry the writers for letting the baby die! Angie scarficed so much, and now this!?? And now she is raising a baby not hers? And tell me why Angie and Jesse baby appeared to be lighter skinned that the found baby who is abviously a mixed breed child since the mother was white.
I agree that Darnell Williams and Debbi Morgan were the performers of the week. I only wish that AMC had written this story differently, without a stillborn baby or a baby switch. This can't end well for anyone and I will hate seeing Angie being deceived like this. I'm not a fan of Griffin's "style". He doesn't do much for me, and heaven knows, we're being hit over the head with how amazing and great he is. Did you hear? He saved Kendall's life! Yeah, I know. As for Jack and Erica, I wish that AMC would either find a different purpose for Caleb or write him out altogether. He sticks out like a sore thumb in Jerica's story. But Erica was very funny with Krystal, I'll give you that.
