All My Children: Week in Review for February 28, 2011

Tad Martin, Cara Finn, All My ChildrenWhen it comes to looking back on the best, craziest, most dramatic moments on All My Children this week, we know what we think. But what we really want to know is what YOU think? What were your picks for this week's funniest moment? Or best performer? We've got some talking points to get you all started, but give us your own picks in the comments below!

Funniest Moment: The so-brief-you-might've-missed-it moment where Jake told his brother Tad that totally weird joke about the elephant eating with its tail. It kind of didn't mean anything, but it was a fun brothers moment.

WTH? Moment: It's probably not Kendall's fault that we keep yelling at her not to turn her back on evil Ricky, but still. Listen to how sinister he sounds on the phone!

Performer of the week: Lindsay Hartley and Michael E. Knight as Cara Finn and Tad Martin. They're navigating this fake wedding storyline well.

Best Moment: Erica and Krystal have another verbal throwdown. We just love when these ladies go head-to-head. Best line? Erica saying Krystal is "Faithful as a dig." Krystal: "Woof."

Why We Love All My Children This Week: Jackson and Marissa saving the day for Bianca by showing up to lay some lawyer-smackdown on Reese's snooty French lawyer.

So let's hear YOUR favorite AMC moments this week!

The only reason I Watched AMC Because of Erica and Jack .I love that they are trying to work it out. I loved the scene Last Friday and yesterday. Jack and Erica should stay together and get married .Leave Jack and Erica alone! let them be the couple like Joe and Ruth . Bring the M/K Family together .Bring Lilly and Reggie back to the show .

Dear SoapNet, I have a different take on AMC:

Most Boring Moment: Colby and that ridiculous post online. How predictable that situation was...I knew what was going to happen before they even set the scene.

WTF? Moment: The 100 times this week that several characters mentioned how Jake was the love of Cara's life. Gag me, please!

Performer of the week: No one! These wonderful actors' talents are being wasted with horrible story lines and contrived, predictable plots.

Worst Moment: "Father" Ricky agressively telling Diana how they needed to be discreet...so why shouldn't they continue to discuss their evil plans in EVERY public place in Pine Valley? So very believable! Criminals love meeting in public places, they're almost never being secretive and inconspicuous!

Why I am beginning to hate AMC?: Because the viewers are disgruntled (READ THE POSTS), the show is B-O-R-I-N-G, and it's honestly on it's last leg! Real talk!!

Actually, I like the mother Castillo on "Mama Mija" on Soapnet better than the one they actually hired. She seems More realistically fit to be their mom. I like the story unfolding between Tad and Cara. I really miss Frankie and Randi and my patience is wearing thin with their continued absence. Please Do "WRITE" by them AMC! WHY can't they be the ones pregnant instead of Madison? That would be a story I could get behind?

I really enjoyed Opal's sarcastic comments in the background at Tad's house when everyone was talking about the plan regarding Tad and Cara's marriage. And I'm REALLY looking forward to Opal and Mama Castillo meeting one another - which I assume will happen at some point. That should be a moment for some good comedy - and fireworks!

Jerica on Friday made the whole show for week. I've barely watched because I can't see something so good destroyed for no good reason. They trash this couple over and over. They put losers like Cooney and KWAK, the woman who stole Bianca's child , in front of them and I'm supposed to be happy and watch it happen. Nope. I'm not doing it. If they can't see what's right in front of them with this couple, than there is no reason for me to keep watching.

The highlight of the week for me was Kendall talking about her and Zach's love and connection. I can never get enough of that, but I'd prefer to WATCH it rather than hear about it. So how about bringing back Zach? We know he's alive and out there somewhere--there was never any body found.

I'm also warming up to Tad and Cara, though I still can't get interested in her brother. The way he and Ricky both are constantly stalking Kendall for one reason or another is getting downright creepy. I'm amazed Kendall isn't suspicious. In fact, the Kendall I know and love would be, and she'd be the first one to be busting through anything and anybody to find out the truth. She also would never waste even five minutes going to her doctor to get permission to stop taking her meds if she thought someone had touched a member of her family--she'd just stop taking them and deal with the consequences later. Both this story and the Emma kidnapping story should be chock full of action, but all we get is people standing around the hospital or Casa Slater or Ryan's penthouse talking and waiting for something to happen. Heck, I can't believe I'm about to take up for Ryan in anything, but the Ryan I know (and can't stand) would be out pounding the pavement, bullying people, and tripping over light cords to find out where his daughter is. I hardly recognize this show these days.

Tad and Mama Castillo scenes at Krystal's was so funny.

The only reason I watched today was for Erica/jackson. I adore them. I adore them with Bianca and I won't be watching them with Cooney and KWAK-napper.

LOVED MY JERICA! I love that they are trying to work it out. PLEASE LET THEM DO IT

Fri, Mar 04 - 4:45 pm

My favorite moment was when Kendall explained to the clueless doctor the strength of the love connection that she and Zach shared. I also loved how she told Rickey that she and Zach were married on a boat and how they decided to get married at sea again and Zach gave words to Spike and Ian to say at the ceremony. How I would have loved to have seen that scene on my TV. Any references to Zendall's story is greatly appreciated, with the hope that we will again see Team Slater reunited with the return of TK/Zach to his family.

I liked the scenes between Tad/Jake and Cara and Mama Castillo. They had humor and were true to life, considering the awkward circumstances of Tad and Cara's marriage. The Tad/Cara pairing has great potential and it is great to see MEK front and center in a story..... it is about time.
