All My Children: Week in Review for February 21, 2011

Wendie Malick, Susan Lucci, Erica Kane, All My ChildrenWhen it comes to looking back on the best, craziest, most dramatic moments on All My Children this week, we know what we think. But what we really want to know is what YOU think? What were your picks for this week's funniest moment? Or best performer? We've got some talking points to get you all started, but give us your own picks in the comments below!

Funniest Moment: Wendie Malick vs. Susan Lucci. They were awesome on Hot in Cleveland and equally awesome here. Also -- Wendie's character was named Gertie Stein!?

WTH? Moment: What's up with Ricky "I'm not a minister, I'm really evil" Torres whipping up a fake letter from Zach and then printing it in the span of like 30 seconds? That guy is efficient -- if he wasn't so busy killing people, he'd be great in an office.

Performer of the week: Michael E. Knight as Tad Martin. Because he's Michael E. Knight, and between faking an engagement with Cara and justifying it to Opal, Krystal, and (kinda-sorta) Liza, he was front and center and we love him. Close second is Jamie Luner, who actually made us feel bad for Liza as she admitted to Colby that she slept with her boyfriend. Boy, can she cry!

Best Moment: Amanda 'fessing up that she called the Feds on Cara. Juicy stuff.

Why We Love All My Children This Week: Madison and Scott are poor! They struggle to pay the rent and pay for hospital bills (so much so that they've signed up for a sleep study ... huh?). Anyway, as much as we love the wheeling and dealing that Erica, JR, Ryan and others do, it's refreshing to see some Pine Valleyites facing issues that many of us at home struggle with.

So let's hear YOUR favorite AMC moments this week!

I just loved the Hot In Cleveland/AMC connection! Seeing Wendie M. and Susan L. together on AMC was so funny and such a change of pace. And Michael Knight with Jane was so funny on HIC.
On another note, I agree with the comment about David. I feel sorry for him. He's one of the best characters on the show.

The best wheeler and dealer on this show is DAVID! And his moments with Liza, Ryan, Marissa, and Greenlee were best of the week IMO. His yearning for his daughter's love crashing into his helping Annie out of town and losing his daughter all over again was poignant and heart-wrenching. And his desire to save lives and be a healer again is palpable. I want him to get his license back! I also loved his moment with Liza, showing his compassion for her in her angst over Colby. I'd like to see David credited by Soapnet for the being a grayscale villain supreme! He wasn't voted best villain of 2010 on very site for nothing.

Kudos to you, recapper, for your WTH? moment because alot of us at home were saying the same thing. It was pretty crazy and not believable at all that he'd be able to type up and print out that last page and replace it in a matter of seconds. Of course, the entire scene was not believable since I can't buy that Kendall would read Zach's last words to her to both her "minister" and her heart doctor. Shouldn't that have been as private as it gets? But at least the Zendall connection was reinforced with Always, Only You and him telling her to think of him with his arms around her. I long for the day when Zach himself puts his arms around her and this long nightmare is over.
