It was fireworks of a different kind in Pine Valley this week as we enter the July 4th weekend, and once again most of it centers on Annie and Erica and their combined wackiness. Is it just us or are they the most entertaining duo on the show these days?

WTH? Moment: While we've no doubt that the CIA would call Erica for her breaking and entering skills, she was not displaying them this week when she trotted into the Chandler Mansion (in an off the shoulder number and heels) via the back entrance. But the bigger "huh?" is that if Adam keeps going on and on about upping security, how did Erica - let alone Erica in designer wear - even get close to the house?

A close second is Liza's total lack of sweat while "giving birth." That college education is not paying off for Colby, as she didn't pick up on it.

Funniest Moment: Liza's fake birth and all the ruckus surrounding it. Maybe this should have been the WTH? moment, because it was so bizarre. Seriously, did Liza realize that most people sweat when giving birth, so it's best to try to fake something? But we loved Tad's antics to try to get to the baby in time.

Best Moment: Hands down when Erica got right in Annie's face and Annie started strangling her. We love these two as archenemies, and the fact that Annie's insane enough to strangle the Empress (although she did stab her - maybe we speak too soon) makes us realize we've just scratched the surface with the fun these two could have.

Performer of the Week: We're going to give it to Kieran Campion as D.A. North. You're probably reading this and saying "huh"? But hear us out: D.A. North is such a huge jerk. We want to slap him, especially after telling Randi he'll back off Kendall if she sleeps with him. He's in bad need of the head conking he's going to get next week, and it takes a good actor to be able to make the audience want to slap him across the face. Hence, our hats are off.

Why We Love "All My Children" This Week: Because Annie walks around in a silk robe AND high heels, let alone her new bedazzled ankle monitor. No wonder she ticks Erica off so much - that's Kane turf right there.
