Performer of the Week: We'd give this to Ms. Lucci, but we're going to gush about her in a second. Instead, we're going to give another shout out to Chrishell Stause, who continues to wow us. In a constant state of mourning, she easily bounces back and forth between indignation, despair, vulnerability, and just being totally and completely lost. We are so impressed by her and think she took great material and knocked it out of the park.
Best Moment: It was more of a series of moments, but the dinner party of the damned at the Chandler Mansion featuring Adam, Ryan, and the main stage attractions -- Erica and Annie -- was brilliant. All that bitchy teeth clenching from Erica (who was there to try to provoke Annie into something dangerous) resulted in delicious bon mots ("You've already proven your talent for stabbing"). From the moment Erica told Ryan of her plan (which was described while Erica was checking herself out in her compact -- plotting and primping: the definition of Erica), it was a roller coaster ride. And showcased that Ryan and Erica make a good team. As romantic partners -- jury's still out on that for us.
Why We Love "All My Children" This Week: Because they let Erica be totally bitchy and deliver amazing lines like "Annie's main charms involve her dexterity with knives and tire irons."
What were your highlights (and lowlights?)
