What is up with Adam and Annie? He's constantly coming to her defense and even hires an attorney for her (get this -- it's his embittered ex, Liza!). The two even kiss! What is going on? That's what their respective exes, Erica and Ryan, want to know. They do NOT trust Annie (can you blame them? She did stab Erica. And, she's nuts). So, the pair decides to team up to get to the bottom of things.

New mom Amanda has to make the hardest decision of her life: should she give up her baby? One thing she IS sure about -- she doesn't want David anywhere near her son. She and Jake manage to successfully convince David that the child died. A despondent David won't listen to anyone (OK, "anyone" meaning the only two people who sort of care for him, Marissa and Krystal) and winds up making a really, really dumb decision.

Once she hears Amanda's baby has been born, Liza eagerly anticipates raising the child herself, with no one but she and Jake the wiser. But Tad's deduced her plan. Will he tell Amanda -- and will that affect her decision about whether to give up her son?

All this, PLUS: Frankie manages to alienate everyone in his life; Kendall's indecisiveness starts to be a major problem; and Randi's past becomes very present.
