So, if you haven't heard, here's the deal: Starting October 16, "All My Children" is going to change forever. How? A bunch of tornadoes are going to rip through the town -- yes, emphasis on multiple -- and change things forever. Seriously, "AMC" is never going to be the same.
We love disasters on TV and in the movies. They remind us of the glory days of '70s disaster films where you were guaranteed lots of screaming, special effects (usually pretty good for the time), and Stella Stevens or Lee Grant running whilst wearing some sequins or Lucite heels. The disaster "renaissance" of the '90s ("Outbreak," "Dante's Peak," "Armageddon") had nothing on Victoria Principal searching through a destroyed Los Angeles for donuts in "Earthquake."
Anyway, to get us all excited for the upcoming tornado, we put together this slide show of some of our favorite natural (and not-so-natural) disasters from TV shows.
And, BTW, all these disasters? They are NOTHING compared to what's coming to Pine Valley. Seriously. You ain't seen nothing yet.
Have we missed any? What's a TV show disaster that YOU thought was well done?
