"All My Children" Sneak Peek: Week of 8/17/09

All seems to be going smoothly in Zach's plan to prove Kendall innocent of killing Stuart: he's stepped up his efforts to expose Annie, Kendall's got a lookalike lying in jail so no one's suspicious, and Kendall herself is holed up in the secret room that Zach's built in her house. And that's where she collapses -- clutching her heart (remember folks, she got a heart transplant earlier this year). She needs medical help bad ... but how will doing so not expose her (as well as co-conspirators Zach and Jesse) to the cops?
That's the least of Jesse's problems. He finally confesses to Frankie and Angie that Randi killed D.A. North and that he's been covering it up. It may clear up the lies, but it doesn't help the Madison problem. She's a psycho in couture as she starts making some pretty steep demands of Jesse.
Randi's life isn't any simpler, either -- she's got baby Trevor. You'll remember that Amanda, Jake, Tad, and Taylor planned to "find" Trevor and claim it was a baby abandoned in an alley, so Amanda could "adopt" the child and David would be none the wiser it's his own kid. Well, things go wrong (are you shocked?) and Randi now has the tot. And she does not want to give him up.
Get ready: Erica Kane is going to Africa! Yes, seriously. What's even more shocking is she agrees to accompany Krystal there as part of a charity venture. Of course, Erica takes the "New Beginnings" cameras along for the ride. Look for footage from Susan Lucci's real-life trip to Africa to make it into the show.
All this, PLUS: It's bombshell time for Liza; David tries to play matchmaker; and Jack has some bad news for Annie.

Why shouldn't Erica get involved with a younger man? No guy her age can keep up with her! I'd question her choosing Ryan, though. He's such a whiny Dumba**!
ok now im sick to my stomach of annie and adam. and when the hell are they gonna move along with the storyline on who killed stewart...like if kendall is pregnent 4 real do we have to wait till she comes back from maternity leave to find out?thats all the way like november
I am not crazy about Erica and Ryan either, because I think it is kind of creepy that Ryan was sleeping with Kendall and now he will be sleeping with Kendall's mom.
Would you want to sleep with a guy who slept with your daughter? Yuck!
I'm new to this blog but have watched the abc soaps for almost 30 years. I'm suprised how many people are upset about Erica and Ryan? Whenever it's an older man like Adam & Annie people are ok with it? So what's the problem? Erica is gorgeous for her age! I say go girl!! If I looked like that at her age and had a shot with a man who looks like Ryan?? What crazy woman wouldn't want a man like that? I think they're a cute couple! Erica MAY just be ready to settle down ha ha. And Ryan has already been burnt enough why wouldn't he want an older, experienced, famous, beautiful, rich woman? Lighten up people!!

im not watching as much as i would like im tired of the dragging story lines ive watched for well near 30 years and im very upset i think david has got greenly and its about time for stuwarts murder come to the light its been in the dark for way to long and give jake and amanda back their baby and lets get rid of madison she killed her husband now that they know he was dead before of course they wouldnt expect his wife the alchoholic gambler but until secrets come out im done watching for awhile
I love the ryan & erica thing, I'm a zendal fan, I do agree that things are moving a bit slow, but again the pay off will be fab..Just like when rex found out about stacy on oltl..I was yelling at my tv..When the truths come out about sturat killing & norths wife, live will be changed for sure..Oh & for heaven sake give Amanda & jake the baby back..
wow why do any of you watch amc, its a soap ppl..I agree that some of the storylines are dragging, but reading most of your comments & yes your intitled to them, it sounds like your sick of the soap as a whole..Just think of how sweet all these pay offs will be..
Since AMC is moving to the west coast, I hear that Greenlee is coming back. And apparently that's who David is hiding. Ryan and Erica is making me sick. The whole Stuart murder is getting very old, Emma needs to tell us who did it already.
I believe Annie is the killer. Who ever the killer turns out to be, I think Annie is a terrible mother. For Annie to put her daughter in the spot she has put her makes her the worse mother of the year. But since we will never know who is the killer, I'm just tuning in long enough to see where the story is. Oh well.
