"All My Children" Sneak Peek: Week of 8/17/09

All seems to be going smoothly in Zach's plan to prove Kendall innocent of killing Stuart: he's stepped up his efforts to expose Annie, Kendall's got a lookalike lying in jail so no one's suspicious, and Kendall herself is holed up in the secret room that Zach's built in her house. And that's where she collapses -- clutching her heart (remember folks, she got a heart transplant earlier this year). She needs medical help bad ... but how will doing so not expose her (as well as co-conspirators Zach and Jesse) to the cops?
That's the least of Jesse's problems. He finally confesses to Frankie and Angie that Randi killed D.A. North and that he's been covering it up. It may clear up the lies, but it doesn't help the Madison problem. She's a psycho in couture as she starts making some pretty steep demands of Jesse.
Randi's life isn't any simpler, either -- she's got baby Trevor. You'll remember that Amanda, Jake, Tad, and Taylor planned to "find" Trevor and claim it was a baby abandoned in an alley, so Amanda could "adopt" the child and David would be none the wiser it's his own kid. Well, things go wrong (are you shocked?) and Randi now has the tot. And she does not want to give him up.
Get ready: Erica Kane is going to Africa! Yes, seriously. What's even more shocking is she agrees to accompany Krystal there as part of a charity venture. Of course, Erica takes the "New Beginnings" cameras along for the ride. Look for footage from Susan Lucci's real-life trip to Africa to make it into the show.
All this, PLUS: It's bombshell time for Liza; David tries to play matchmaker; and Jack has some bad news for Annie.

Who killed Stuart? Whoever it was Emma saw what happened.
For that reason alone I think it was Annie but that may be too obvious. Please reslove that storyline it has been too long.
BTW; does anyone remember that David's nurse is "babysitting" someone somewhere? Remember the phone call she cut off for someone?
Has anyone thought that Scott might have shot Stuart thinking it was Adam?
I have been watching for 39 years, i was 16 when the show first aired and am now 56. But really Erica and Ryan?????? why not Erica and Petey just as disturbing. Kendell, Greenlee are 2 reasons why not Erica and Ryan. Not to mention she is old enough to be his grandmother. Sure she looks great but really she is in her 60's and he is maybe 30 something. Erica was old when Tad was a kid and tads in his 40's now. I guess what i am saying is get rid of the Erica and Ryan story line. Also Adam and Annie is not ok it is just as bad as Erica and Ryan even more so on account of them sleeping together and all .

I am half on the page with ladybonner74. Beside the fact that we only get about 22 minutes of air time, that only drags out each scenario even longer.
How does Randi think that people will not be wondering why she "adopts" a white baby? Can the writers begin to create new story lines, and wind up those that have been going on forever!
So, what's next with erika and chrystal can these 2 vixens become friends. And why does it look like annie is trying to seduce scott and he seems to be falling for her! yuck!!! tad and liza need to get back together.
Erika and Chrystal in Africa OMG! that's a scream. The ratings gotta be going through the roof ! I'm so sick of Annie getting away with everything, does'nt Adam know yet she killed stuart ? And Ryan needs to get a life already and leave zack and kendall alone. Randy needs serious help, jessie is losy as a cop, did'nt he check the finger prints on the weapon, the guys wife was the last person who picked up the murder weapon and she left finger prints. The cast is fabulous and susan lucci is one of a kind!!!
