I'm going to miss All My Children but the ending did suck. How you're gonna end the last show with a cliffhanger? Makes me wonder if they're going to come back maybe a year later and who did JR shoot and will Erica get to finally marry Jack again. They could have done a much better job with the ending. I'm very disappointed with how they ended the Series Finale :( Wish everyone of them lots of success.

I'm going to miss All My Children. I didn't like the way it ended with a cliffhanger. How are you going to end the Series Finale with a cliffhanger unless you're coming back some time later on. Like someone mentioned, they should've ended it the last day of September. I'm sure we All My Children fans would like to know who did JR shoot and is Erica going to finally marry Jackson again. I wish them all well.

your ending sounds better then what they put your right the ending should have been begtter, im trying to figure out how to be able to see it on line

I have been a fan since high school in 1975. I remember running home from school in between classes and lunch to see what was going on. I have enjoyed the story lines and the characters that have come and gone, from Tara and Phillip to present day. The writers did not do the last episode justice as being a long standing soap. I was thinking that this would right all wrongs and create an ending that would make the viewer say "wow that was great." Now I have all these questions and no answers. That was totally Wacked writers.
Oh by the way I will not watch the new show on at that time.

I didnt want THIS WEEK to end, I loved the story lines, I will miss all the actors and actresses on AMC, they are terrific group of actors/actresses, my favorite of course is Thorsten Kaye, and I loved his sense of humor.
But the finally was not good, because it left me with who did JR shot and will Erica every marry Jack. I felt it was cut off instead of making it a true finale. Instead it lead me that another show would come the next .
I wish everyone well, and I am curious which actor/acress willl go to another soap, maybe in a movie. I will miss everyone good luck.

I did not like the ending of AMC. It should have not ended with a cliffhanger since this is the last episode. I was really expecting more of a closure. The last episode left you wondering........

I have been watching this for 42 yrs. The last thing we need is another food , or talk show. Leave the classic alone!! I will see if I can get it online, if I figure it out....I cant stand to see this go, its been a part of me for so long! And why cant the soapnet channel run it?

I agree and I refuse to watch whatever they put in place of where All My Children used to be just like I refuse to watch the show they put in Oprah's old spot.

I did not like the ending it SUCKED it should have been done much much better in fact it should have went to the end of Sept that way maybe the writers could have done a better job and whom ever did this storyliine should be fired

They should have let Jack and Erica marry, Brot and Natalia marry, Randi and Frankie pregnant, Angie return to being a DR, Jesse Chief of Police Tad and Dixie married,Greenlee and Ryan marry,Kendall and Zack happy as can be, David becomes a better person he and that pretty lady get engaged

Opal meets her Mr. Right Kristal meets her Mr. Right.

Then they fast forward 5 yrs and everyone is still going good and little Lucy and Maya arw still happy with The Hubbards

JR is getting help to deal with being hot tempered

I am another that will NEVER watch whatever they put on ABC at AMC & OLTL times for as long as I live. I've been watching AMC since 1972!! I feel like most of my family just died.
I was not thrilled with the AMC finale. I did, however, love the irony. Loved Jack quoting Rhett Butler as his final line before he left the party. "Frankly Erica, I don't give a damn." Also, "who did JR shoot" instead of "who shot JR" is also priceless and classic. I loved that they ended exhibiting such a great sense of humor.
Life will have to go on, but it will never, ever be the same.
