This week on All My Children, we can't even tell you what's in store for AMC's final week on ABC. ...Okay, how about a taste? Look for the great families of Pine Valley to get their moment in the sun: the Kanes, the Chandlers, the Hubbards, and the Martins will all celebrate their rich histories and look towards the future. Get ready for some heartwarming -- and a few heart-stopping -- moments along the way. And special guest appearances by some of your most beloved stars. Look for Sarah Michelle Gellar to return to the show that made her famous, plus Eva LaRue (Maria), Julia Barr (Brooke), David Canary (Adam), Justin Bruening (Jamie), and Alexa Havins (Babe) will be back. Don't miss it as All My Children takes its final bow on Network television.
What are you most looking forward to this week?

I am so totally disgusted at Brian Frons ,ABC President for cancelling AMC And One life to live
I have been Watching AMC since Day 1.
The last thing we need is another talk show, cooking show or reality show.
If it was about ratings then he is clueless. Sure , maybe people weren't not at home to watch , but there were still the shut ins , retirees and people who work nights. The other either DVR or Tivo it to watch in the evening. So, he still got his ratings and the sponsors still got their messages accross.
In this bad ecomomy , how dare he lay off people.I am not talking Susan Lucci. She will be fine, she is worth millions with all her product lines. It is the others . Michael Knight is a character actor, but kind of work is he going to get. Cameron Mathison is on GMA , so he is fine. There are not enough acting jobs to go around for the rest. And what about the writers, directors, camera people, and the little people. Yeah the litttle people like the wardrobe people, the make -up and hair people and the carpenters, food service, secuirty and maintenance people ? Huh, Brian. Great job for adding to umemployment and in January you are going to do it all over again.
I will not watch The Chew. If I want to watch a food show I can watch Rachael Ray or the Food Network.
As far as the finale, the only thing I liked was Jackson finally giving La Kane the big kiss off. It has always been about her with Erica. Always seeking constant adoration and attention. Other than that, I did not like the cliffhanger.
The only way this works is if one of the other channels are picking it up like it was rumored to happen.
AMC ending on a cliffhanger was only way, it had me guessing what would happen during next episode and part Hollywood tradition to always leave them wanting more. Not to mention Jack paraphrasing Clark Gable from ,"Gone with the wind," seemed inevitable to finally give Erica Cane her comeuppance and wrap it up on a classical note. In the end it doesn't matter who was the victim in the final scene because we know the writers would entice us in a story line full surprises and pitfalls we have come to love on All My Children. It is so sad to see them go and I wish them all the best.
I've been watching every day since 1980! Friday was an awful day. I watched The View and then the last episode and I cried all day. This is a really crappy thing that ABC did. I realize that for me and other viewers we're just going to miss this show to death. But how about all of the actors. This show has been Susan Lucci's life for 41 years! Not to mention the rest of the cast and crew. I feel awful for all of them. As for the ending - I thought it was CLASSIC. The whole Rhett/Scarlett thing was great! As for the shooting - think Sopranos. I hope that Netflix or Hulu will stream the new AMC and I can still watch on my TV with my ROKU!
I agree with all the comments on the final show for amc they could have ended better and why leave it with a cliffhanger if the show is nit coming back on I think they should reconsider i have been watching amc since I was 13 years old and it has been coming on abc at 1pm for the longest I dont think the chew will succeed in their spot because they dont need another food show on tv they have their own channel which I watch so I dont think i will watch the chew if they do go online noone knows were to go to watch the show so you need to get your fans the information they are looking for i wish all the crew the best I hope you all fight to come back I know I will be waiting
I feel like I am going to have a heart attack, I heard that it was coming on Dis/ABC is this true. I sure hope so I'm not ready to die I have great grand children to see raised.
Love ya AMC
Well I spent this entire week waiting to get home from work to watch the last week of AMC, I too have been watching AMC for 35 years or so. DVR's are a wonderful thing. Everytime they had a commercial on "The Chew" I wanted to throw something at the TV. I was a little upset about the ending too. For a minute I thought that JR was going to set off a bomb and kill the whole crew. Then I would have felt like it was over for real :( I cried at the end of every show. It's like losing a part of your life, I mean where else do people come back to life over & over. I will miss Tad Martin the most :) I have had a crush on him since I was 16 years old. Please bring back AMC.
I watched AMC for over thirty years. The Chew looks like it could be a good show, however I am an AMC fan and I refuse to watch any show that goes into that time slot on ABC. Shame on ABC for not showing the fans the same dedication and loyalty that we showed them throughout the years.
Do we really NEED another talk/food show? There 's Rachael Ray, The view, Ellen and COUNTLESS talk/food shows on all day long and most do not even watch those. Truthfully there is no creativity in TV programming today .Obviously the head honchos at ABC have not gotten that clue yet, however I believe they will once they air The Chew. I believe they are in for a rude awakening because people just don't care about that type of programming any longer. My guess is they will fail miserably with The Chew, then at some point want to bring back AMC, but will it be too late? Probably. The actors will have gone on to better things and rightfully so. They will lose sponsors as well because if no one is watching the new shows, then what is the point of advertising during that time slot. I for one will chose not to watch The Chew. Honestly it appears to be a very boring show, more of the same and nothing original. They are advertising it like some big deal because one of the cast is "Dr Oz's daughter..well ABC she is NOT Dr Oz so who cares who she is. 4 or 5 overwt people talking about unhealthy food choices, like putting pastrami on top of your cheese burgers is NOT what we need today. We have enough shows already teaching us to be healthy, ok we get it but this?? really! They talk about Pizza and all sorts of fattening foods. I am hoping soapnet tried to pick the soaps up because they belong on TV not Internet viewing only mediums. People truly enjoy the soaps as an "escape" and we need that today in this rushed world of ours...a little romance, escape, drama and plain ole funny. ABC, you are a disappointment and have truly let down mainsteam America.
I'm so mad that they cutting off my two favorite soaps. Then they want to replace it with a food that got me totally tick off."PLEASE PUT BACK ON MY SAOPS." No one is going to watch the chew who cares about the chew. You don't mess with the classics.BOOOOOOOOOOOOOO THE CHEW!!!!!!!!!
i read that all my children would be going on line any truth to that?
