All My Children Sneak Peek: Week of 9/19/11

This week on All My Children, we can't even tell you what's in store for AMC's final week on ABC. ...Okay, how about a taste? Look for the great families of Pine Valley to get their moment in the sun: the Kanes, the Chandlers, the Hubbards, and the Martins will all celebrate their rich histories and look towards the future. Get ready for some heartwarming -- and a few heart-stopping -- moments along the way. And special guest appearances by some of your most beloved stars. Look for Sarah Michelle Gellar to return to the show that made her famous, plus Eva LaRue (Maria), Julia Barr (Brooke), David Canary (Adam), Justin Bruening (Jamie), and Alexa Havins (Babe) will be back. Don't miss it as All My Children takes its final bow on Network television.

What are you most looking forward to this week?

The Chew should change its name to the "Barf"...........go to the food network

Just something further....and totally different topic....talk about unemployment....JUST HOW MANY PEOPLE ARE GOING TO BE UNEMPLOYED BECAUSE OF THESE SOAPS? It's not just the actors/actresses....set design, pr reps, costumes...food...travel....I'm sure these is going to have a tremendous ripple effect. Not to mention, you moved these "employees" from one coast to another, disrupting their families....for what only to tell them "you're fired" and your soap career is over!!!! Sad, sad, sad and wrong, wrong, wrong!!!

I too can't believe this is the last week for AMC and to come later in the year OLTL and I'm sure eventually then GH. I started watching with my grandmother in 1975....and now my 14 year daughter is watching with me. Talk about keeping the "kids" out of trouble. These soaps certainly keep a certain range of teens interested and not on the streets. Thanks yet again to big business to take away the "family bonding" times. As one viewer mentioned, maybe the only good thing about the soaps ending is that our society may get "in shape" and start excercising....as no one will be watching these new shows....so as a last resort "fitness". We'll see....but there will be a change in society....and I don't believe it is going to be good for anyone!!!! Very sad!

I STILL can't believe the best show on daytime television is going off the air :o( I don't know where we are supposed to watch it now..... if it isn't publicized where to watch it and I don't get to see it, I have decided to only watch OLTL and GH as well as Dancing with the Stars and Castle and that is it for ABC television.... once those go off I am going to boycott ABC as well as Disney products of all kinds.... no movies, television, dolls anything and everything Disney,ESPN and ABC will be gone from my like as much as possible. I have asked everyone that will listen to me to do thee same.... I figure word of mouth will have to get around and the sponsors will hear us :o) and hopefully take action. Thanks for reading and hopefully you will also take these actions :o)!

Being so it seems like almost everyone here is NOT going to watch that show called the "Chew" (it's a dumb name too).........I say we all either make sure we turn the station....or turn the tv off ! Then maybe the "Chew" will have less viewers, and ABC will notice the drop in what was once us........their faithful viewers during the time of day AMC was on !!!!!!

I missed the All My Children Marathon last weekend. Will Soapnet be repeating these episodes? Or did I miss this 1 time special?

Mon, Sep 19 - 11:25 pm

I'm having the same feelings as alot of other peeps on here!!! I AM after OLTL is over I WILL be Boycotting ABC network!!! I'm just disgusted with ABC and their thoughts and to think that they are REPLACEING a GREAT Soap with "The Chew"??? What the H E double hockey sticks are you people thinking?? STUPID mistake ya'll!!! I have been watching AMC since 1980, I'm glad that Soap Net put the two days of AMC on, it was great to see these shows that played back in the 80's, my how Erica has grown up since then!! I will miss this show and I will NOT watch ANY Show or program that ABC puts on for the rest of time.!!! Ever since they stopped putting on SOAP WEEKEND at Disney, they went down hill(ABC) I mean, But who are we,? Except the people who WATCH this channel!! So if your really upset as I am, DON'T watch ABC!!!! All of you people out there who watch GH beware your show could and will be NEXT, You just hide and watch!!!!

Mon, Sep 19 - 11:06 pm

I am disgusted that the Chew is replacing All My Children. I learned how to be a DIVA watching this soap and now the Chew is going to teach me what, how to put flowers in a tin can instead of a regular vase? and make a "yummy gumbo" using smaller shrimp? The promos suck. We already have great shows on the FOOD NETWORK !!! This show won't last.

Mon, Sep 19 - 6:26 pm

PUT THE CHEW BACK ON FOOD NETWORKS THATS WERE IT BELONGS!!!!!

Mon, Sep 19 - 6:24 pm

I Dont'understand WHY soapnet can't keep showing all my children & one life to live !!! Someone PLEASE tell me, they say we can still watch AMC on the net where do we go to watch that? Also I hope all soap fans don't watch the chew or even let anyone in your house watch it , i know nobody in my home will be watching the chew!!
