Poor little Emma Lavery. She's not having a very good week. She fingered Kendall for Stuart's murder (remember, Emma was in the house on the night in question) -- but the larger issue is: Is she telling the truth? Everyone's suspicious that Annie -- who may be the murderer herself -- is programming her daughter to divert suspicion. Ryan's determined to get to the bottom of things.
In the meantime, things go from bad to worse for Kendall. Convinced by Liza that confessing to the crime will mean little time served, Kendall goes ahead and does so -- since the evidence against her is mounting. Her ploy doesn't work, and instead of being lenient, the new D.A. decides to throw the book at her. Kendall is looking at a very long future in the clink. The only silver lining in all of this is that the experience brings Zach and Kendall closer together, and the couple has sex. Nothing like a life sentence to act as an aphrodisiac!
