All My Children Sneak Peek: Week of 5/9/11
Erica finally sees a bit of success in her attempts to escape. She manages to get a phone call out to her loved ones ... but she's caught. And finally, Erica comes face-to-face with her captor – and you’re never going to guess who it is. Seriously, in all her years Erica Kane hasn’t faced THIS kind of challenge.
Meanwhile, back in Pine Valley, Erica's phone call comes just in the nick of time -- like, just as Jack and Krystal have a weak moment and end up kissing! But look for Jack to leap at the chance to rescue Erica (joined by Caleb, of course, and also Asher). Rescue won't be easy, and the week promises to go out with a bang.
David apparently isn't done making lives miserable, and this week, he sets his sights on Madison and Scott. The good Dr. Hayward is the one who spills the beans to Madison about how Greenlee put Scott up to task of being with her. Will Madison and Scott fight for what they have? Or will it all be too much or pregnant Madison to handle? By the end of the week, a health crisis looms.
Jake and Cara's work lives continue to be tangled up in one another. Even Tad has something to say about it (maybe because Tad's developed feelings for Cara?). Look for an incident at work to bring Cara and Jake even closer ... and to put Cara on Jake's mind in whole new ways.
All this, plus Ricky tries to rush Kendall into eloping, while Kendall tries to keep up the ruse and not blow her cover; and Marissa and Bianca team up to thwart some bullies at Miranda and AJ's school.

Can't wait for Zach to return and for Kendall and Zach to be reunited. The summer can't come soon enough for me. The Jake/Cara story is frustrating. I can't believe he is still obsessed with his ex-wife. She should have a love story with Tad. I just know the Madison/Scott story is going to be depressing. I wish AMC would come up with something different for David/Vincent Irizarry to do. Same old, same old is boring.
The erica story.... I was thinking that is probably Janet that was the one having Erica in the room. Because she is pyscho enough and yet clever enough to make the whole room to Erica's room. But now that is Dixie is coming back I wonder could it be her? What would be her motive in kidnapping Erica? Then I think make it was her being drugged (when we thought she died has done something to her mind).
what do you all think? AMC is my favorite soap but I also love OLTL

Wow this is my first posting on soap net and will be infrequent. But the name I picked as how I feel. As a middle aged woman in my 40's now and remember the story lines of the ABC soaps for years, I have watched for years since my preschool years on the rare occasion of being home with my mom in the house as she listened and watched as she prepared meals for tobacco work hands or doing house work. I still watch the ABC soaps when I can including the mornings on soap net as I try to unwind from a 12 hour nursing night shift and try to go to sleep after fighting to stay awake for the hour and 1/2 drive home. I am disappointed in ABC cancelling my shows.
Before anyone says or thinks, "way not get a life." Believe me I have a life. Family, church and full time employed as a nurse night shift and caring for my aging parents in poor health in their house and caring for my family in our house. The shows are my release to my fiction unwind life as well as a wonderful memory seeking enjoyment that is going to be gone. In a time when I seem to be loosing a lot and now the soaps that was fond memories of time as a child with my mom. My mom has alzehiers (dementia) and isn't the same anymore.... which I am grieving so much aboout! My father who has been a corner stone of strength in my life has an dieing heart and is so HOH that we can't even have the conversations that we used to....I am grieving for that also! Shame on ABC for cancelling the relaxing/stress releaving/coping technique for a "40 something woman" in the sandwiched generation with elementary school aged children and ageing poor health status parents that she is the primary care giver to and trying to help others by being the best nurse she knows how!!!! This hobby of watching soaps was something that I could do and still be at home caring for my children, parents & doing housework.
I'm so looking forward to Erica getting out of that flippin room! Also, can't wait til Ricky is found out and gone - he's so annoying & his storyline drags on forever. Just bring Zach back before the show goes off the air! Zach & Kendall make a great team and an interesting storyline. I'd love to see Jake & Cara get together - and Amanda gets a real job and quits hanging out at the hospital like a groupie. BTW - will somebody get the salespeople off the Comment pages here? I thought this was a place to talk about the Soaps - not to buy sneakers...plzzz...go to Craigslist with your merchandise and let us enjoy what time we have left to discuss our soaps (without sale pitches).

Like I said on OLTL, I enjoy watching both One Life and AMC. I have been doing it for a very long time. I used to watch them with my mom, and that are times I miss. I hope the producers will think this out a little better. I personally do not like reality shows. I think they are stupid and boring, and if they replace these two shows, I will not watch them. There is enough of real, real life out there without putting it on the tv. So some people don't like soaps, my son will watch them with me sometimes. He watched them with my mom too. So who cares if they are real or not, some of the things they show seem pretty real to me. I just enjoy them.
Lol...Greenlee is tooo much! She gets caught in her own lies & still tries to blame everything on Madison & accuse her of wanting Ryan back. Greenlee came between Madison & Ryan with her marital issues with David & now she wants to accuse Madison for using the baby to get closer to Ryan. How dare Greenlee tell Ryan she'll love this new baby as much as she loves Emma, she called the baby a "thing " & calls Emma a brat. Great choice Ryan! I hope Ryan dumps Greenlee for good & moves on...with ANNIE!! Lol...just saying!
Why do we still Only see Frankie and Randi thrown in scenes here and there to prop others? They have loads of chemistry and a lot of (potential) story to be told. I want them to announce they are pregnant a a result of that Sexy Elevator Scene about a month ago. I have been waiting for them to get pregnant ever since Randi lost her baby two years ago! This baby could Easily be the glue that binds the Hubbard Family once Jesse reveals the true story of Baby Ellie and Baby Lucy! C'Mon AMC...Do the "write" Thing and give the Hubbards a viable storyline!
Hope erica rescue is a success. and i hope kendall gets the truth out of ricky before it's to late. and that griffin saves her and they end up together. because they have feeling for each other.and i hope erica and jack finally get married and this stay married.
