All My Children Sneak Peek: Week of 5/2/11

Greenlee's problems with her wicked stepdaughter are about to take a serious backseat, because Ryan find out that she hid the truth about Madison's pregnancy from him. For Ryan, it's a huge betrayal, and for Greenlee, it could be the end for this relationship she's fought for. Is there any way she can make it right?

Meanwhile, Kendall continues her plan to lead Ricky on romantically in the hopes that he'll reveal something incriminating about what he did to Zach. Griffin's not at all happy about Kendall putting herself at risk like this, but he's willing to help her anyway, so he can protect her. As much as someone like Kendall is willing to let herself be protected! So what happens when Kendall and Ricky's date progresses to romance in the bedroom?

Erica is trying anything she can think of to escape her tastefully-appointed prison. This week, she devises one particular plan that -- if it backfires -- could reveal the most shocking moment of her life.

Jesse is still struggling with the baby swap -- especially with his memories of the baby – his daughter – that died. But this week, look for a breakthrough moment for Jesse and little Lucy.

Plus JR and Scott clash when JR plans to tear down the gatehouse where Stuart lived, and Liza wonders why, if things are so casual between her and David, David is covering up their relationship to Greenlee.

How about a look at what's to come in the month of May?

*Erica finally comes face-to-face with her captor and finds out the true motivation for her abduction. We'll say this: Erica Kane has NEVER faced anything quite so extreme ever. Trust us – this story is about to take a turn in a direction that’s a first for Erica Kane (if you can believe it).

*Ricky proposes to Kendall, and since Kendall is trying to keep up the charade, she accepts! How far WILL she go to avenge Zach's death?

*Tad realizes he has feelings for Cara. Does she return them?

*The conflicts surrounding Ryan. Greenlee, Madison, and Scott lead Madison to go into premature labor, where the life of her and Ryan's baby is a risk.

*Bianca and Marissa team up when they hear Miranda's being bullied at school. But is something more going to happen between them?

I just watched AMC, and since Erica's kidnapper is wearing nail polish I will assume it is a female, My guess is Carmen. She was with Jack and then Erica took him back, what do you think?

Oh my Gosh!!! Ryan needs to get over himself. He was a CON-Artist for gosh sakes. What right does he have to judge anybody!! Truthfully what did Greenlee do that was so wrong. Everybody lies once in a while. It's called being human. But then again maybe Ryan isn't human. Maybe he's a God sent down from above to teach us all right from wrong. Ah yes, perhaps he needs a statue of himself, so that everyone knows he is the most self rightous.

Leah E2 Good points about the Hubbards' part in covering up the death of Madison's hubby. But, it's still a lie. And what a lie it is.
No one says that Tad should be allowed to get away with murder either. If I am not mistaken, that was one of the reason's Cady McClain had to go as Dixie--she called the writers on the coverup of Dr. Maddin's murder. She could not believe that Tad was going to be allowed to walk away from it. As a result, she was either let go, or allowed to leave.
People do change, but the change in Madison's character is not believeable. At least not to me.
As "bad" a character as some say that Greenlee is, the thing that I like about her character is that she is aware of her flaws and makes no excuses for them; she does struggle with her bad decisions (showing that she has a conscience) even though she goes ahead and does what is wrong. Further, even though she did not have the best upbringing, she is playing out the character of a damaged little girl very well.
This is just my opinion. I think she is a character (not the things she does, but the deep-seated motivation behind the things that she does) which a lot of people can relate to. It is a soap opera, but I do like the characters to be believeable.

Today marks the anniversary of one of All My Children's super couples: Zach and Kendall Slater! Their ceremony on the yacht was simple and perfect. It is my sincere hope that Thorsten Kaye returns alive and is reunited with his family! Seeing Mr. Kaye and Alicia Minshew onscreen together again creating magic is what I've waited for!
