All My Children Sneak Peek: Week of 4/25/11

Erica is still captured, and she's trying desperately to find out just WHO is keeping her locked up. Erica has one idea: what if it's Krystal? So she can have Jackson all to herself? If only could Erica could see Krystal offering Jack a shoulder to lean on, she'd be livid.

Kendall's mother is missing, and Griffin makes the decision to stay in town for her, so it's safe to say her emotions are already on overdrive. But she's going to have to pull her wits together this week if she goes through with her plan to get the proof she needs to nail Ricky for killing Zach. The strategy? Seduce the truth out of him! Bianca, Ryan, and Greenlee all pitch in to help get the goods on Ricky, but look for Griffin to get jealous when it looks like Kendall and Ricky are getting romantic.

JR continues to try to win Marissa back, and he wants Bianca to be his wing-man, pretty much, in his effort. Little does he know that Bianca is starting to have feelings for Marissa too. It all adds up to a double-date where everybody's emotions are bound to be out in the open.

Jake continues to fight his own weird feelings about Cara being married to his brother. Why does he care so much?? This week, when Cara takes the fall at the hospital to save Jake and Tad, Amanda can tell just how strong Jake's feelings are. So, naturally, Amanda starts to think of secretly getting pregnant!

All this, plus Greenlee and Madison clash over Emma, and Maya and Colby bond over Colby's web videos.

What are you most looking forward to this week?

It's ironic that this site is being overrun by spammers hawking their cheap junk, as it represents what the alphabet network will become when all that is left of daytime are talk shows and lifestyle shows and their product placement, which will probably be just as ignored as the spam on this site is.

As for the show, I'm very disappointed that the decision was made to cancel the shows rather than put in any real effort to save them, but I am looking forward to the return of Lorraine Broderick's writing. The Castillo Hour is a mess. I want to go back to storytelling that makes sense and that is written for the fans while we still can.

For one, I don't care who kidnapped Erica. The storyline is not interesting. The character is a senior citizenr; not some young, irresistible woman. Who stalks and kidnaps grandmothers?

Two, I suppose people believe that if they say something enough times, it will make it true. Emma is behaving accordingly, based upon her own mother's brainwashing. Out of Emma's own mouth we heard that Madison was the only one that her mother didn't say anything bad about. That, and that alone, is the only reason Emma runs to Madison. Not because she is being treated wickedly by Greenlee. Never happened. Why shouldn't Greenlee put her foot down instead of letting Emma have her way. While her behavior is understandable, it is still inexcusable.

And, three, finally, if Madison were such a superior person, she would encourage Emma by reminding her of the great relationship she and Greenlee had as well as telling her that her behavior is wrong. No, she stands there with Emma's arms around her, looking like a jerk (a smug one at that, who is using a child to score points with Scott???? Ryan???? oops, his heart is already taken). Could she really think that Emma prefers her? Emma is a victim in need of a selfless adult to help her to see what is right. It is disgusting for Madison to use that.

As AMC's final chapters are being written, I want Frankie and Randi to reveal their pregnancy. Based on last week's scene as Randi shared her feelings of deep grief over the loss of her baby two years ago, it's glaringly obvious she's more than ready to become a Mom. Having yearned for another baby so deeply, Frankie and Randi deserve their family. Their dedicated, patient fans will be happy come this September and beyond.

I think Zach took Erica. You know he'll be alive & come back now the show is going off in a few months.

I am sad to see my two favorite soaps cancelled without ANY warning!!! I wish there was another channel out there that would pick them up soon!!!

Mon, Apr 25 - 7:07 pm

I think Erica's kidnapping has nothing to do with the whole casino mess and is definitely something out her past but I'm drawing a blank. I need a clue?

Agree 100% with drdannelly! Ryan should definitely listen to Emma about Greenlee...I wish Madison would tell Ryan about Greenlee knowing! How dare Greenlee delete Madison personal items on her computer? SELFISH!!
